Pros: 1. easy to set up 2. Amazing sound , especially at this price point Con: 1. The bluetooth connection from the sound bar to the base loses connection and cuts in and out. Very irritating.

I purchased this during black friday. Once I got it plugged in and going everything seemed fine until I started fiddling with some home consoles, namely the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. I wasn't quite able to get to the bottom of the issue but I'm hoping that doing an even exchange and bringing home a new one will fix the issue. The issue I seemed to be experiencing was that the soundbar was having problems playing high pitched tones specifically from the menus on both the Switch and the PS4. So, for example, the key tones whilst navigating the menus on both systems would play a distorted tone from what it actually should bne playing. Yet when I would scroll across on the menus to get a bunch of tones all at once it would play them just fine. Meaning if it was a continuous stream of data being sent to it, it would be okay. Something akin to watching TV or listening to a song would work just fine. So I'm guessing that the soundbar was having problems picking up very fast short loud pitches and I'm hoping that it was just this particular unit that i recieved and that it isn't some actual issue with this soundbar. If it is then I'll just get a different kind but I was really hoping this one would fit my needs. If you're looking for a soundbar for your home theater then look no further, the quality was great but it failed to meet my expectations. If you're looking to get every single bit of sound detail out of your piece of hardware then I can't quite say this will meet your particular needs because from my point of view it has problems picking up smaller sounds that in actuality are very loud and obnoxious to the human ear. I guess the hardware has problems processing a fast button tone. Or I was just unlucky and recieved a faulty one.

This is a really nice soundbar for the money. The quality of the unit is apparent as soon as you take it out of the box. LG did a fantastic job on this. Sadly I had to return because I couldn't control the soundbar volume with my TCL TV remote. I knew this was the case, but the addition of yet another remote proved to be a deal breaker for me. I wish they would come up with a "standard" so that the requirement to match soundbar & TV together in order to control with a single remote was not neccessary. Replaced with a TCL 2.1 soundbar - it doesn't hold a candle to this one.

Alright, you know this thing kicks butt if a noise complaint was called on you after just 3 quarters of the way through district 9. LOL True story. The bass is plenty for I need. The sound is pretty vibrant for being a soundbar. And cops were called, and I live in a house. Yeah, this thing works just fine. :)

I bought this product on Black Friday as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It was very easy to set up and sounds great.

Just hooked mine up. Sounds great, Easy insulation, good price. Can't go wrong with this product.

I purchased an in excellent condition open box LG soundbar. Everything worked excellent (sound,remote,subwoofer,etc) Except for one thing...the bluetooth keeps shutting off after about 30 seconds. I exchanged the open box item for another in excellent condition open box LG soundbar and lo and behold I’m having the exact same issue...bluetooth keeps dropping out. I don’t want to return or exchange it because the sound is excellent but the fact there’s no bluetooth connectivity is a dealbreaker.

Bought this for my parents as a Christmas gift, and got it set up in less than 20 minutes. A little configuration of the sound preference, and it's been fantastic. Please note that it does come with an optical cable, so you don't have to buy one unless you need something longer than 3 ft.

This sound bar is amazing! It delivers exceptional sound quality and pairs easily with my LG 55” smart tv. The subwoofer easily pairs out of the box and also provides great bass to accompany the sound bar. It fits easily under the tv out of sight. I would recommend this sound bar for anyone!

We had some trouble at first with the system auto-connecting (without any authorization) to my wife's iPhone. That appears to have been solved by turning off the feature, but now to connect to a mobile device we have to turn the feature back on, then back of again after, or it will interrupt the TV audio in the middle of a show. Very annoying. We also had some trouble with audio sync with our Roku Ultra. Although to be fair, it may be the Roku that's the source of that problem. I'll find settings that fix the issue, then the next day the audio is out of sync again. Other than those very annoying issues, the sound bar produces great sound. Much better audio experience than the native speakers on flat screen TV's.

Bought this item for my father as a gift. Once he set it up, the entire family loves watching tv in his living room now. It has a great sound and the pricing is super affordable. This item also performs very well if set up outside.

This Soundbar is excellent! It easily connects to any TV via optical cable and honestly for the price it has amazing sound quality. Pros: Easy to connect Excellent sound quality. Deep bass from wireless sub Has a few quality sound presets Cons: There is no HDMI arc connection. There is no wi-fi so you won’t be able to change settings using a visual interface on your phone like some other soundbars. The Bluetooth connection for the sub seems to drop out if sub isn’t next to the bar. I had mine next to my couch and it constantly dropped connection. Overall it’s a great Soundbar for the price!

Crisp clear sound throughout 1200sq ft house w/o disturbing neighbors. Feels sturdy & well built. Heavier than other units. Nice economical upgrade from 15 yr old wired surround system. Wish it displayed volume & subwoofer level.

I bought this open box for $109 so I was content with the price, unfortunately I have now had the bar for over two years and the subwoofer hardly works at all. Not sure why but many reviews have shared same problem. Still plenty of clear sound from the bar but I miss that filling base the woofer brought during first 6 months. LG needs to work on their subwoofer technology. The soundbar is 300watts so the sound compared to the speakers with the tv is substantially better. But I am disappointed I can barely hear the subwoofer anymore.

This sound bar will give you good sound. However LG made one really boneheaded mistake. This device will not allow you to control it with a universal remote. My previous sound bar allowed it. And pretty much any home theater system of TV allows you to connect to a universal remote. To use this sound bar you're gonna have to have 2 remote controls handy all the time. Not a wise decision by LG to not include this basic functionality.

All i gotta say is: I still got it 5 years later...My rude upstairs neighbors are mad....I just hate you cant prevent other people from connecting

The sound is fantastic and I enjoy it thoroughly, however, there is an issue with the sound going in and out. It’s a Samsung TV and this sound bar and it’s via optical cable. It randomly cuts out for a couple seconds at a time and then it’ll come out. It’s not the TV, not the streaming app, or movie. It happens in all of these so the only constant is the sound bar unfortunately. Any help would be much appreciated as I very much enjoy this product and I’d like to perfect it. Thank you!

Bought this for my Sony 4K TV. The sound + picture make it all together a great set! 4 Stars because of the shipping delay.

Great sound system, easy to assemble and connect to devices. Love the different variations of sound you can have.
