It typically goes on when you turn on the TV, but unfortunately sometimes it doesn't and you have to turn it on with the remote it came with. Not a big deal, but not sure why that happens. The sound is definitely better when it is on, so we are happy with the product overall.

At that price point this was a fantastic purchase. I have heard the Sony equivalent to this at least and this one had a much cleaner sound without sacrificing volume or bass. Also I think the page I bought it from said an optical cable was not included but I definitely found one in the box..

Flexible soundbar

Probably works best with LG TVs, but it works fine with all my Bluetooth devices. Remote is not very intuitive. I have an Insignia soundbar that has as good a sound but the remote is even less intuitive. Good bass and cinema settings.

I'm glad I did. The design is sleek and fits with any entertainment area setup. The sound is great! I have no complaints there. My main complaint is that there is no screen or panel to give clear detail on your volume level. Overall, highly recommend.

When the bass is up i'm sure the neighbors could hear it. Great price point and nice sound. I have the living room done up with Sonos. For the price this LG is a nice affordable option almost on par with the Sonos. Not as good but also not as expensive.
