My husband bought this for our bedroom tv as I am partially deaf and no longer able to hear the tv unassisted. This was extremely easy to set up. Our bedroom tv is probably ten years old so it did not have the correct hdmi plug (has hdmi but older version) so we used the included optical cord with no issues.

This sound bar is LOUD and the subwoofer pounds, I love it!

I bought this as a discounted open box item so I may be giving it more credit than I would had I paid full price, but this is a great sound bar/subwoofer combo for my living room. Video games sound great through it, I've mostly played racing games since I got it the other day, and the sound is much improved over the TV speakers

The sound bar does away with more cumbersome sound set ups for those wanting to simplify. Good quality, decent volume, but not audiophile sound quality or price. But, decent for money spent.

We bought this sound system for our television because it was not loud enough. We had to blast the televisions sound just to be able to hear it properly. As soon as I bought this there was no problems hearing a thing. Football games were easy to hear and sounded amazing. The system was easy to set up and fit perfectly under my tv

I picked this up while it was on sale for $180 which made this a great deal. If you are someone looking for something better than the built-in TV speakers, but don't want or need to spend money on a "premium" setup, this is likely one of the better choices you can make. Coming from just TV speakers, the Amp can be a bit intimidating, but it does not disappoint. My only complaint is that there have been times when the sound cuts out in the middle of watching something and reverts to the TV's built-in speakers. It's a bit annoying, but rarely occurs. However, this could be an issue with my TV, or the way I separated the sub-woofer so far from the sound bar. Overall, I definitely recommend this product for someone who wants an inexpensive home theatre solution, and doesn't care about having the highest sound quality possible.

We initially went to the store for a Samsung that was on sale but was not impressed with the sound quality. Tested the Sony but did not like the cloth cover. Third time was the charm, when we heard the LG and knew it was exactly what we were wanting. Highly recommend for those who want quality surround sound and easy installation.
