Lots to be desired

It was ok

LG Products and Support BAD

Now I have changed my opinion and this purchase is why. Product begins to have issues after about 2.5 weeks and LG expects me to go at least 2 weeks without it as they "repair" it. Unbelievable. Disappointing. Best Buy is also no help, because they only support 15 days in order to return.

Not good

Don't Buy with wireless sub

The wireless connection constantly cuts in and out and it will drive you up the wall. We do not have any other items in the room with the wireless sub that could hinder the connection, and tried moving it in 4 different places in the room all within 5-10' of the soundbar. The soundbar doesn't sound bad for the money, but the sub is laughable.

Did not work out of box

Called manufacturer and was told to take back to store for replacement. Returned to store and was informed product was under recall and hey would not replace it. Refunded money, called back to manufacturer and I they could not verify recall. Still waiting for email on recall replacement.

There were also periods where it would make a loud "pop" noise. Not much clarity in dialogue and the bass was muddy. The customer service was excellent and very helpful in the exchange process.

A piece of garbage

Then after a few minutes it starts again. Does it on all inputs. Of course, it waited until after the return period had expired.

The tv I bought with it has better sound as crazy as it sounds. Ended up returning it. Would like to hear or see LGs response to this. I love reviewing tech items.

Worked great for 17 days.

For the price, it’s amazing!

All in all it’s a great speaker. It’s my technically “second” sound bar although I only had the first one for two weeks. Set is easy. Bass levels are movable up and down which is a a plus. It has 3 different presets. ASC, standard, Cinema. I keep mine on Cinema mostly. I only paid $110 for this due to it being open box excellent quality. I love how there is a grill that hides the speakers

Great Sound Bar

I had previously purchased a less expensive Insignia sound bar and returned it- two remotes needed and no visual volume indicator; not what I wanted. This LG unit is great- I bought when rear satellites were included at no charge and they enhance the sound considerably, even when placed high on a storage cabinet as mine are- still fills the room with sound pretty well. It was a bit of a challenge to adapt to a Sony Smart TV. HDMI ARC capability required. It took three calls to LG tech support, who were helpful, but providing not completely correct info until the third call. I ended up having to use the Optical cable as a last resort and now it works great. The best part for me- only one remote required even with a cable box. The sound bar turns on and off with the TV automatically when programmed to do so- although the procedure is not in the mini manual provided with the unit, you need the .pdf (40 pages worth online) or have tech support dig it out for you. They were not even fully familiar with this procedure, as it is a fairly new unit. The store had none on display as they had all been sent back for a firmware update.

Good middle

This isn't mind-blowing quality but it sounds great depending on the size of space you use it in. I got mine with the rear speakers and the surround sound is great. The Bluetooth works really well with my phone and I like that I can pass my Roku through the sound bar to the tv and it acts as a pass through to be able to hear anything streaming.
