The fridge came on time and installed properly but there was a lack of demonstration, the water was supposed to drain a certain amount. We still have chemical smell from the fridge water and I am yet to drink from it.

Freezer freezes up in the drawer covering everything with ice much more than it should even though the freezer is set to teh warmest setting available. At first I thought it was just being brand new and was humidity within the unit but this has been happening for weeks now

What an unpleasant experience! ! I ordered in July and waited 2 month for it to delivery. On the delivery day, The tech staff did the measurements and refused to install the count depth one I ordered. He advised to change to a stand depth. So I had to go back to the store to change the order. After waiting for another two weeks, another tech staffs came to measure and said the space won’t fit a stand depth fridge and I had to go back AGAIN to order the original counter depth. What a unprofessional team!

the water from the water filter and ice has a horrible chemical taste

Like the refrigerator but issues right away with the seal around the freezer and getting frost in it. Still in the process of getting it fixed

Bought this same ref almost 4 years ago but most recently, the compessor just stopped working. Had to throw away a good amount of food which would not fit in a small freezer, electric poratable cooler & a couple of extra coolers. Dry ice almost cost about $50.00! This happened just about when we were finishing remodelling including a new roof! Not the best time to happen. I thought I didn’t have any warranty for I cancelled the Best Buy Total Tech service after the first year which I thought was useless after talking to a BB Total Tech rep on what it covers and does not. I also thought the manufacturer’s warranty lapsed after one year. The repairman I called - after paying $190. for the service call, didn’t do anything but said the quality of these compressors (Inverter Linear) is just not there and does not work. It’s an energy saver and quiet but is simply defective. He also mentioned replacing a compressor will cost upwards of $1500. He also advised for us to call LG - that they might cover the compessor but not the labor & that there have been lawsuits on this compressor vs LG. He was wrong but it turned out to be good advice. I called LG on a Saturday & was not on hold for too long when a rep came on. He said anything about cooling is covered and that I have a warranty of 10 years onnthe compressor and 5 years labor! Very pleasantly surprised! I am wondering why I was not informed upon purchase for this is a good selling point! They scheduled the tech on Tuesday (3 days out) and compressor was replaced by a very knowledgeable tech named Juan. I was impressed with LG coverage abd service. I also have an LG gas range and microwave. I like the look of this ref and just glad I didn’t have to replace it! Thank you for standing by your products, LG!

Love this fridge. The quick access door is surprisingly useful, and the party ice feature is awesome when we know people are coming over. I bought this on Black Friday sale for $1000 off and I'm so happy with it. Water tastes good. Plenty of room for stuff. Doesnt fingerprint.

It's one of the very few fridges on the market that could fit in our kitchen. It's so cleverly designed, lots of storage space. Drawers are very conveniently placed.
