I was so happy to find a frig that fit my small space. It is just the right size for me. cleans easy, like the ice and water dispenser.

Not a huge fridge connoisseur but needed this exact size fridge to replace an older one that went dead. So far the only problem I've had is the ice machine or the waterline to the fridge is inoperable but not quite sure if it's the waterline or the fridge

Great side by side for smaller than normal openings. Very happy with delivery and setup. Fridge cools and freezes as it should. Makes great ice and dispenses water like a champ.

We had a hard time finding a unit that would fit our area. This one was perfect size and just enough extra room with the ice on the door

This was the largest fridge that would fit in our kitchen space. So far, couldn't be happier. No issues. Very quiet. Looks great.

This fridge is great! I love how well organized the shelving is for the freezer and fridge. The water/ice also works like a charm!

You cannot not find repair technicians to repair sealed systems.

This refrigerator was delivered at noon on a Thursday. Before the delivery people left I asked what the beeping/chiming noise was. He had never heard it before but guessed it might be because the fridge was warm. I looked in the manual many times but could find anything about the chiming except for a door alarm. I looked up online and found it is a problem and called the local Boise store on Franklin. I was pretty much put off, asked if I'd purchased geek squad insurance and told to call them. The person at geek squad had me do a few things and then said a technician would need to come out. The first scheduled appointment available was in 7 days - NOT ACCEPTABLE. There are 3 chimes that can be heard all over the house that go off every 30 seconds. I called the local store again and they could not do anything or have any influence over the appointment because Best Buy uses contractors although they are working to bring repair people onto BEst Buy rolls. I told them to bring back my old refrigerator (which was on its last legs) - the soonest they could get a replacement refrigerator was in a month. I ordered another one - same - from Home Depot who could deliver in 2 weeks. Friday morning I called the Geek Squad again and talked with a terrific agent - RIck who worked very hard and communicated with me about progress - he was able to get an appointment for later that same day!!!! Kudos to him. The repairmen came about 5:30 p.m. - worked about an hour but finally were able to determine that a connection in the panel on top of the refrigerator was loose. In the meantime, the fridge was not cooling down like it should have over 24 hours and the water dispenser stopped working. They determined that it was a faulty water filter which I had to go to the store in BOise to pick up - they did not have one and sent me to their Nampa, ID store that had only 1 in stock thank goodness. Water filter works very well. The fridge/freezer also cooled down to appropriate levels within 2 hours so apparently that was also connected to the loose wire. I really like the refrigerator - not the local store for customer service. The Geek Squad was excellent once I got the right person who cared enough to help me out. I don't think I'll go back to Best Buy again, although I will buy LG products again.

Just had one of these bad boys installed in my house today and I'm already in love. I have a condo so limited space for expansion this replaced my 25yr old Whirlpool no problems and actually gave me an extra 2CUFT of fridge space. It does extend out a little further than my previous fridge but still is not invading on my limited space. It has one of the most logical layouts I've seen as of late. Only complaint is it takes some practice removing the ice tray little tricky to get back in. Best Buy did an awesome job with the install, I was a little skeptical about the water line being ran from under my sink, through cabinets, then behind my range and back through more cabinets to the fridge (the space backs up to a common wall with bathroom sink thought running a t off that line would be easier) but the line is nicely ran and secured to no obstuct anything. I did opt in for the Geek Squad protection and am now looking to replace my dishwasher with a matching LG TrueSteam model.

Unfortunately our kitchen cabinets were built around an older fridge that was here when we bought the house, so we were very limited in the size we could get for a replacement. If we'd had more leeway, we definitely wouldn't have gone with this unit. First the positives: it looks nice, it's very sleek with a minimal design (not a whole lot of bells and whistles that would probably malfunction in a year or two). The fridge is fairly roomy, but after having a stacked unit (freezer on top), it took some getting used to having a considerably narrower space to put things. The lighting in the fridge side is adequate and illuminates the whole space. The negatives: the "stainless steel" finish appears to be some kind of laminate and is definitely not real steel. You can't adjust any of the shelves to different heights, so we can't even put a bottle of soda on a shelf without putting it on its side. The only way to alleviate this is to completely remove one of the shelves to make room for taller items. The freezer side is the biggest issue. The first problem is there's next to zero space in there! The shelves are maybe 6 inches wide (and also can't be adjusted for height). The ice maker takes up a good 60% of the inside of the door... and the bin barely holds any ice! There's only 2 of us in the house and we've run out of ice during the day multiple times already. And it takes forever to make it... there's some kind of setting to have it produce it faster (which only lasts 24 hours for some reason), but I've yet to see any difference in the speed. The shelves are deep, so in order to have stuff in there, we're constantly digging items out to get to food in the back. I can't imagine a family would have even a fraction of the space needed for the food they'd consume. On top of all that, some genius decided it would be a great idea to put the LED light on the back wall above the middle shelf. So once you put stuff on the shelf, everything is back-lit and/or the light is covered completely.and the freezer is dark. We really wanted a french door fridge, but unfortunately no model would fit in our space. We thought a side-by-side might be a compromise, but we regret the purchase. Between the lack of storage space and very odd design choices, I definitely wouldn't recommend this.

New refrigerator delivered yesterday. It was beeping and delivery man hadn't heard that before and thought it might be because it was warm. I called the Best Buy store in Boise, ID and asked them about it - they had no idea and told me to call the Geek Squad. They were very good and ended up saying it sounded like a defective door open alarm - they couldn't tell me how to disarm it. Earliest date to get a repair person to the house was in one week - UNACCEPTABLE. I recalled the store manager who said they had problems with contracted service over which they had no control but Best Buy was changing that in the fall. 3 beeps every 30 seconds for a week - and they cannot come up with a better solution. A replacement refrigerator will take a month. I called LG and they agree this is a problem but could not tell me how to disarm nor could they do anything about the service call being a week out. I have requested that my old refrigerator - which is on its last legs - be brought back. I really like this refrigerator for how it is designed for storage but will never go back to Best Buy. I have purchased another one from Home Depot.

After owning this refrigerator for 7 months, I can say this product is a real disappointment. I am a big fan of LG and have purchased several of their products in the past. The lighting inside both sections is the worst I have ever seen. The light in the freezer goes to the third shelf and that is all. The light in the refrigerator section is only slightly better.. The shelves in the freezer and refrigerator are NOT ADJUSTABLE; IS LG SERIOUS? The sides are not stainless, but painted. A fair rating is really being generous. Buy Samsung or another good quality brand.

The refrigerator fits in the spot really nice and has all the features I was looking for. Easy installation of the water filter! Everything working and the refrigerator is very quiet. Best Buy delivery men were great! Would buy on-line and from Best Buy again.

I had this refrigerator for 26 months and it fried. Small leak in a hose in the back drained the compressor and it burned out, $800 in repairs on a $1400 refrigerator. The only bright side is that the fridge wasn’t great to start with: the shelves are not adjustable and the top shelf is not tall enough to hold one of those plastic Tropicana orange juice bottles or a bottle of wine. Really disappointing. I’ve owned two LG appliances in my life, and both broke within three years. Luckily I had bought the extended warranty on the washer. I’ve never heard of the refrigerator crapping out that quickly.
