Q: is there a separate grilled tray to catch excess water spills when dispensing??
A: There is not and there should be. Tray needs a paper towel to catch the overflow or water runs down the front of refrig.
Q: Are the refrigerator shelves adjustable? What is the maximum spacing between shelves?
A: The only shelves that are adjustable are those on the door. The top shelf is about 10.25 inches tall.
Q: What do I do when the ice maker does not extract the ice cubes?
A: If your ENERGY STAR® Qualified 22 cu.ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator, 33” Width, Under 66” Height, Model # LSXS22423S is producing ice but not dispensing it, that might be due to ice clumping which may result from infrequent use of the ice dispenser over time. You will need to break the ice up with a rubber spatula taking care not to break anything. You'll also want to make sure that the ice chute is not clogged with clumped ice either. To prevent the ice from clumping again, you should dispense at least one glass of cubed ice a day...^IFV
Q: Is this refrigerator quite? I'm looking to very quite one.
A: I think you mean quiet. And yes it is
Q: Is the water coming out of the door cold or room temperature ?
A: water is cold
Q: Why water is leaking from the refrigerator?
A: It's hard to determine why the water is leaking from your LG 22 cu.ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator, 33” Width, Under 66” Height, Model # LSXS22423S without knowing where exactly it is leaking. If the water is leaking inside, it could be from something that may have spilled, water from the water filter or from the ice maker. Check that the door to the ice maker compartment is shut all the way. If the compartment is not shut properly, air can escape and melt the ice causing it to leak. You may also want to check the water filter. Check the 'O' rings at the end of the filter to make sure that they are not cracked, stretched or seated incorrectly and while you're checking that, make sure that there aren't any cracks or damage to the filter compartment. If the water pressure is too high, that can also result in water overflowing in the ice tray and in that case, you can try reducing the size of the ice cubes, turn down the home valve to partially close the water supply or install a water pressure regulator...^IFV
Q: Are the ice and water unsanitary without use of the water filter?
A: If your water is safe to drink from the tap, I don't see why the fridge water wouldn't be safe. You should realize that it is possible for the filter to get clogged over time and the water pressure from the fridge tap will be reduced.
A: Yes, this has a deli drawer.
