I love my LG refrigerator. Very quiet! Just wish the lighting was a little bit brighter in both fridge and freezer.

I wasn't sure what to expect as we bought this refrigerator about 3 inches shorter than our old one due to changing out our kitchen floor. It amazingly holds about the same amount of items as our other one did (now our garage fridge). It looks great and works fabulous as the depth made up for the height difference. It was much easier to get through the door than I thought it would be and the directions to take it apart are fantastic. I would buy this item again!

Joey from San Siego, CA Nice looking Fridge inside and out. Roomy door shelves Except fit Freezer side with only 3 very small shelves under big Ice/Water unit. freezer shelves also deep And Narrow. Need inventory to know what’s in there. Delivery Techs did not hookup Waterline to Ice Maker. Said they don’t do Manufactured Homes. I paid for the install and should get a Refund. Over a $100.

We have a custom built kitchen with specific requirements for the height and width of a fridge. This model fit perfectly. Also, the freezer is much larger than previous side by sides I've had and seen, due to the ice maker being built into the door. Cools nicely and has a nice overall look. Could do without the constant magnet of fingerprints, but expected it with stainless. Also, not that I put many on the fridge, but magnets do not stick to the front...only the side. I would buy this item again.

    Good Fridge, but.....

Our 2006 Fridge needed repair, and parts were most costly. We shopped around the Denver area. We found that our kitchen space was built for a 33 in fridge, and most today are 35 in or wider. We found only two possible models, both side-by-side. We ended up with a LG model. The LG has a "linear compressor', and has other unique features. It is very quiet. Works well. Looks good. But.. 1. Foul Taste: the installer told us to flush out the water with "2 gallons" to get rid of the bad taste. Better 2 gallons/day. The bad taste smells like a disinfectant, maybe necessary. Better now, but if you don't use the water for a while, hold your nose. 2. The interior lighting is pretty inferior. There is a rather useful lighting fixture at the top of the fridge. Does a good job at lighting the top shelf, not much more. The freezer has too just one light and most of the interior is dimly lit. With LED lighting options, this seems a design flaw—LG knows better. The box was "manufactured in Mexico", but as we all know, today "manufacturing" means screwing manufactured parts together, assembly, which gets taken for manufacturing. So, good looking, quiet, very efficient, good design features for storage, solid doors. But the water problem remains, and bring your flashlight when you open the door. The other candidate (another side by side) was conventional, and had an ice maker that invaded the freezer. More useful space in the LG. However, the LG was about $400 more. Time will tell. As for Best Buy, we had excellent service, knowledgable sales people, good company. They did not seem to know that Xcel Energy is giving a $50 check for one of their customers who kills a old, energy hog refrigerator. That went smoothly. The Xcel team came, took off the doors off the old box, and off it went to the rendering plant, where it gets parted out, probably sending the steel parts to Korea for throwing into the furnace.

The LG - 22.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel is excellent. It is called compact, due to its height, but it doesn't skimp on space. It holds all our groceries easily, especially extra items during the holidays. The stainless steal, makes our kitchen look so modern and it is easy to clean. The ice/water component is great and makes filtered drinking water, saving on bottled water purchases.

I bought this fridge when the last one that we purchased from Best Buy broke after only a little more than four years. This fridge certainly works well so far. The temperature in fridge and freezer seem to be correct and constant. It is quiet and well designed to fit a lot of food. The exterior looks good and the water/ice dispenser functions smoothly. I just hope that it lasts longer than the Whirlpool we had last.

Wonderful refrigerator. Our biggest problem with refrigerators in the past has been the ice maker. The last one constantly jammed and we had to replace it 3 times before the refrigerator breathed its last breathe. The one prior to that would shoot the odd ice cube across the floor! This one is working like a charm and the ice bucket is removable. I also like the fact that it's located in the door which gives you more space in the freezer. The ice maker does make some noise when the ice drops, but the refrigerator is totally quiet. The doors hold a virtual "ton" of groceries and the unit holds everything our last one did plus some! It fits perfectly in the spot designated by the cupboards in the kitchen. The price was the best in the area. Delivery was prompt and very courteous. I'm very pleased with our new refrigerator and Best Buy.

Nice fridge, clean led lighting and ample room in freezer due to icemaker being in the door. Fridge pockets are big enough for a full size gallon of milk. Filtered water and ice are perfect. The ONLY downside I can think of is, that the water dispenser has to be used delicately or else you end up spilling water in the tray. The way it is designed, it is hard to push your glass against the button then lift off, you have to keep it as close as possible to the button without pushing it when you want the water to stop or else the water drips between the cup and the button. Other than that, its works great and has a 10yr warranty on the motor. Also would be nice if the water dispenser was a little bit higher on the door, it seems a little too low for me and I'm only average height at 5'9"

After purchasing and exchanging three Frigidaire refrigerators because they were all defective, we decided to go with this LG LSXS22423S, a slightly more expensive model. Great decision! Although the refrigerator has small outside dimensions (33" width, 67" height), it has a lot more interior room in both the freezer and refrigerator than some of the 'larger' models. It is much quieter than the Frigidaire, even when the compressor is running. Plus it comes with a 10-yr compressor warranty. This is the first refrigerator I've owned where the drawers don't stick. The water dispenser is well-designed and easy to use -- any spills can readily be wiped up without taking things apart. Overall, an excellent refrigerator.

Was pretty limited by the space for the refrigerator, this was about as big as we could go. Even after reading other reviews I was concerned about the space in the fridge and freezer. Both have alot more space than you would expect. The ice maker being in the door of the freezer makes a huge difference. I wish the shelves in the fridge were adjustable (only the door bins are adjustable), other than that it's great and exactly what we were looking for. Great service as well, there was a dent in the door when it was delivered, they brought a new door a few days later.

Seems a bit short for tall people. Lots of storage in freezer. Shelves don't adjust. Interior lighting is good. Love the stainless steel finish. works well with our galley kitchen. Fridge door shelves are adequate. Freezer door shelves are tiny. Hope it lasts as long (15 years) as my old fridge.

Was looking for a smaller sized refrigerator to fit into the space of the kitchen. This unit hit all the specs that I was looking for. Runs very quiet, and cools quickly. The only drawback is the shelving in the freezer section, you really can't get a pizza box in due to the narrow size. Other than that, it is an excellent unit.

Only purchased because it fit our space. Interior is cheaply built. LED lighting that is boasted about is right up front on the top and as a result, only lights up the upper shelves. The lower portion is rather dark. Also it is awkward to dispense water without spillage and there is a very shallow catch basin to capture drips. Water spigot is clearly too close to the water activator. Overall this refrigerator is just O.K. I wish I could have found the same dimensions in a french door refrigerator but the manufacturers are ignoring people who aren't ready to replace cabinets to accommodate taller refrigerators. Wake up manufacturers! There are plenty of us out there who want a quality refrigerator that has a slightly shorter dimension. We encountered other shoppers with measuring devices in hand as we shopped for refrigerators.

got this item as 'scratch and dent' sale item. It had a little scratch on the side and was priced so well we jumped at the opportunity. It's a very good looking unit (ours is stainless steel). It's quiet and works well. My biggest complaints are: 1) it was delivered and installed (meaning it was just placed in the location). The delivery did not remove any of the interior taping or packing cardboard. What a pain to remove it all. 2) it does not have leveling so we had to pull the unit out after install (installers didn't try to level it either) and find a shim to make it level in our house. 3) the shelving is not adjustable. This is not a really big deal since most thing fit, but a gallon of milk just fits on the door shelf or on the top shelf of the frig. Tall wine bottles don't fit upright so they have to be laid on their side.

I really like this fridge is right to my small kitchen. Looks small but has a lot of room inside . The thing that bothers me are the shelves that you can't adjust them. But I'm happy so far so good water and ice works fine . I recommend this fridge .

This refrigerator took a bit of adjustment. The pull-out drawer in the center, for instance, threw off all sense of balance. It wiped out sight lines - I couldn't find anything in there without bending over and moving stuff around. We removed it. The fact that the shelves aren't adjustable is a minus and the top shelf should be a bit roomier. The added space in the freezer (smaller ice maker and it's all in the door) is a definite plus, and with just two people in the house, the smaller ice maker doesn't matter. I've not had the fridge that long yet, but so far it keeps the temp pretty constant. The "door open" chime gets rather annoying and I'll try to find a way to disable it, I'm sure! Overall, though, it's a nice fridge.

So far this refrigerator has been a great buy, looks good and fits perfectly in the 33" wide space we have. Only complaint is the controls for the temperature control of the freezer and refrig. They are on the front of freezer right next to the ice and water buttons. So someone not familiar with the controls could inadvertently change the temp of freezer and frig and you may not know it until its too late. You can use the lock button, but it also locks out the ice and water at the same time. Not sure what the engineers were thinking.

It has only been a few days. However, our new refrigerator is quiet and spacious (shelves are deeper than our old one). Best Buy was very understanding and very proactive about the late delivery of the appliance the other night. Also, due to an incompatibility between the current water line and our new refrigerator, the water/ice maker have yet to be hooked up. I strongly recommend that you have this checked out BEFORE the delivery day.
