We purchased this very nice fridge about 3 months ago. Then the control panel failed by getting stuck in a certain mode and the buttons didn't respond. LG customer service were contacted and they tried to set up a repairman to visit - not only did this chap have ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE of his appointment to visit us, he had NEVER worked on LG products previously. When we informed LG of their error they took forever to try to rectify this problem. Fortunately the fridge and freezer itself were still functioning and keeping things cool. According to Best buy management, service back-up for many companies is Poor, and LG are just another example of this. It is all very well being pleasant on the phone and asking things such as "Is there anything else I can help you with" and "Have a nice day" etc etc and all the niceties, but at the end of the day, when you need something fixing, especially if it is only 3 months old, YOU JUST NEED IT FIXING, BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. It may not be rocket science but they seem to turn it into rocket science! All these stores try to get you to sign for extended warranties but if this is the sort of back up you get even within the 1st year....is it worth it?!

I had a tight space 33 inch ,so my choices were limited ,I really like it,looks very good,lots of room inside,can`t hear it at all,got it at great price 1399$ delivery team from Bestbuy were professional and on time.

works well. shelves don't adjust. plenty of storage. ice maker makes small amount of ice. love the water dispenser.

I have no major complaints with this refrigerator, but I did have to have the icemaker replaced already after approximately one year of ownership. Dealing with LG customer service and the local repairman to whom they outsource was not easy. Since then, it's been fine. My only other complaint with the refrigerator is the water dispenser. It is difficult to use without spilling water. The refrigerator is good for small spaces, such as condos or apartments.

I'm impressed with LG. I've purchased a few TV's from them and they are very good - excellent. The refrigerator is whisper quiet. It had no issues whatsoever in the installation and delivery. It did have a scratch that I would like to talk to customer service about, but it doesn't have any bearing on the unit or its workmanship. Its brand new, so I don't have any real experience with it yet, but I really like the build, feel, style, and energy efficiency of this unit. I hope to buy more LG stuff in the future ;-)

Plenty of space for a smaller fridge. The only complaint is the water dispenser is not very user friendly and tends to leave puddle.

Runs good. Quiet. Temp ok after several days to stabilize. See occasional 3 degree increase then returns to normal setting. Ice maker works as expected. Water dispenser drips if remove cup to fast - have to hold for several seconds after stopping water flow. Top is not flat and has a raised cover so you can not set anything on it.

This refrigerator operates very quietly to the point you have to listen closely to know that it is running. It handles the job of cooling and freezing food quickly and efficiently, much faster than my old GE refrigerator. I do wish it had a bit more lighting though.

Needed a smaller size side-by-side to fit the space. LG was the best. Very quiet.

Good fridge. It was easy to set up in our house (professionals did that), it looks good, runs quiet so far. No complaints as of yet (not expecting any). The only caveat is that the silver shows hand prints easily. That's just the way it is. Also, remember that the front doors are not magnetic, so any of those metal/magnets type fridge items will need to go on the side where it will stick.

Associate at Best Buy directed to this refrigerator when mine died and it meets all my needs: - Width needed to be smaller than 35 inches because of space but still spacious inside. -Space safing freezer (ice maker built into door) since I share this refrigerator with my parent. - Top of the line for reasonable price. - Stainless finish. - Filtered water dispenser. With the Best Buy warranty, I'm very happy with my purchase. It also helped that the associate was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns and find the right product.

Although this refrigerator has some minor negatives the positives makes it a great unit. Sure I read all the complaints but none are significant. The fixed shelves is not really a problem since the chosen layout is livable. With all the refrigerators with movable shelves I have owned, I never moved them once set. We adjusted quickly. The LED lights, especially in the freezer could be brighter but we never open the freezer in a completely dark kitchen. So not that much of a problem. It makes ice quickly and if you use a glass with a normal opening, all cubes wind up in the glass. Filter is easy to change. This refrigerator employs a new LINEAR COMPRESSOR. Excellent new technology, and it is whisper quiet, cools fast and I mean FAST. VERY ENERGY efficient! Price was right, size is perfect for small kitchen, attractive design. Wife was disappointed that her magnets no longer stick. I was delighted. Just hate the pictures, stupid magnets and her honey-do-lists! Magnets do stick to top and sides so I am not 100% free of this blight completely but I'll get by. Again the new Linear Compressor is impressive and has a 10 year warrantee. The buttons are fine for ice-cubes/crushed/water. Easy to use and not all that different from similar units. If you have problems with that, well sorry. They say if you build something so simple an idiot could use it, an idiot will.

I had this fridge for a month now. It work very good. keeps food fresh and meat frozen. the water taste very good too. love the large gallon bins, and the ice maker on the door saves valuable freezer space. one thing I have to watch for is sometimes the Ice maker does not stop making Ice. This just could be my unit. Overall, it was a good buy.

It is an 'Energy Star' refrigerator so I assume that may account for it's slow recovery rate. Do not spend a lot of time making decisions with the refrigerator door open as the box begins to warm up rapidly and cool back down slowly. It has the ice maker/water dispenser in the freezer door which saves space for larger freezer items. The ice and water dispenser area is taller than some others and allows for taller pitchers and tumblers. It works well. The water filter is easy to install and the water tastes very good. Because we did not fully understand the principles of operation, we had a refrigeration technician come out and check the refrigerator. He provided lessons and determined that the unit w working properly. He agreed with us that the operator's manual was not much help. At this point with our new refrigeration education we are pleased with our purchase, and feel we got good value for our money. The purchase at Best Buy was the most pleasant and fastest appliance purchase I have made in my life. All the associates involved were very helpful and efficient.

Overall a nice refrigerator. I wish the control panel would stay lit up to make it easier to switch between ice and water at night, otherwise i have no complaints. Install guys were friendly and on time.

The fridge is great and looks very sleek, but once you open the doors and get inside you realize there is a major design flaw. The shelves in the fridge CANNOT move. I am completely baffled that LG would make a fridge where the shelves are stuck in the positions they come in. None of the shelves can fit a gallon of milk on them, and although there are shelves on the door, I personally don't like having milk on the door. Unfortunately, this fridge forces you to. Don't get me wrong, it's a great looking fridge, but if I had to do it again I would've gone with a different fridge.

Did a lot of research to find a smaller refrigerator for our condo that was also quiet. This one is perfect and it also looks great.

My spot for the fridge is a bit tight, height and width wise. The LG fits it perfectly. Good ice maker and water. The drawer that we use for cheeses and misc stuff has the left rail/guide that is beginning to separate from the fridge inside left. Been meaning to call about it but with the COVID19 thing going on, I haven’t been too anxious about fixing it yet. Warranty will be running out soon though. Lighting in the fridge And freezer could be a bit better.

The amount of refrigerator and freezer space has been maximized for those of us who cannot have a refrigerator taller than 66". The majority of refrigerators today are 70"h x 35"w. This one is 66"h x 33"w and yet there is plenty of room. Even the freezer utilizes an indoor icemaker which maximizes freezer shelf space. Very classy looking also.

Because our space is limited, our choices in refrigerators was somewhat limited. Still, we got most of what we were looking for with this one. The freezer section is ample enough for just the two of us, and the cooling part holds lots of stuff without seeming cramped. We were kind of surprised that it doesn't have a separate meat drawer, but we turned one of the two crispers into that. Through-the-door ice and water are nice features, although one learns quickly to hold the glass up close to the spigot or it will shoot ice out all over the floor. The stainless steel finish doesn't show fingerprints and has been easy to keep clean. The door shelves are quite roomy and hold more than expected.
