LG Dishwasher

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-Third shelf seems useless-does not hold much and always wet. -With extra drying, and 3 plus hours washing, high temperature, items are still wet especially cups and glasses with any depression on the bottom. Is there a fix?

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the main reasons I chose this dishwasher was because it was supposed to be very quiet and unfortunately it is SO much louder then my old dishwasher was. The dishes don’t dry really at all either. I also bought this over a different one because it can connect to a phone app like my lg washer and dryer do, what I didn’t realize that the only thing that you can do with it on the app is diagnostics. If I could do it over I’d pick a different one mainly because of how loud this is.

We contacted LG support to try to reset it, and then it wouldn't turn on at all! Of course, there are no more warranties on it and they want to charge $400 for a service call!! This is the 2nd LG appliance that we're having to replace that was less than two years old. I will not be buying any more LG products, and hopefully others will learn from my mistakes.

If the dishwasher isn't turning on after trying the reset, it could be related to an issue with the control board, power supply, or another internal component. We recommend checking the circuit breaker to ensure the unit is receiving power, and also verifying that the door latch is securely closed, as the dishwasher will not run if the door is not properly latched.
If the unit is still unresponsive, we suggest reaching out to us through private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. While your warranty may have expired, we may still be able to guide you through additional troubleshooting or assist with available options for your situation.
