Definitely a downgrade

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Maytag, but decided since I have an LG stove and fridge may as well get the dishwasher. First problem, the racks have larges gaps in them so the dishes don't fit well in them. It's also much louder than our Maytag. It does an awful job at cleaning. Also the LG connect is kind of a joke. The phone has to be right next to it for it to connect, there's no remote start. The top rack barely cleans silverware, all in all the interior or the dishwasher felt much smaller than my Maytag. Also it barely dries.

Also, it doesn’t get dishes as clean as my old Whirlpool used to. Slightly disappointed.

Within a year the control board goes out. Takes LG days to respond and then had 3 technicians accept and then dropped our case. So I had to find a repair company under LG to come out and fix it. Finally fixed it and then 6 month later it goes out again. Thankfully this was covered under the one year warranty. (Parts have a one year warranty as well if replaced). Now here we are a year after that and the exact thing is happening again. But its not covered and LG wont fix it. I havent had any other brand break let alone break less than 3 years old.
