Washes well, dries ok

Very quiet compared to our old model. Only drawback is wet dishes (mostly plastics) due to the lack of a heating element for drying. This is despite using all the recommended settings to make the water the hottest as well as using spot remover. Not sure how much energy I can be saving when I’m using extra features such as High temp wash and Extra dry that pull more electricity and increase run time.

Lg charges $350 min to come out and fix it. Supposedly parts are still under warranty but it is unclear how to claim the parts warranty without lg coming fix it. If you do buy make sure to pay for the extended warranty. It did a decent job cleaning when it worked but is nothing special.

For your issue, we suggest checking the circuit breaker to ensure it’s properly reset and that no other appliances are affecting the breaker. For guidance, find the circuit breaker in your electrical panel that controls the power supply to your LG dishwasher. Flip the breaker to the "off" position. Allow the dishwasher to sit without power for about 10 seconds. Flip the breaker back to the "on" position. Turn on the dishwasher and attempt to start a cycle to ensure the problem is resolved. We like the silverware drawer. The only thing we don't like is how the tines on the drawers are set up. Most are on an angle which makes the use of the available space less efficient.

The motor eventually failed. Supposedly, that motor has been manufactured to not have that failure. The dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning, though.
