Solid and Quiet workhorse that's not so smart.

Smart features might as well not even be there since it requires you to be standing next to the dishwasher to do NFC

LG Dishwasher Died after 17 Months! DO NOT BUY LG!

This expensive dishwasher died after 17 months. The display lights began flickering and then going crazy. I shut off the circuit breaker and turned it back on after an hour. The light display was out of control and all lights just flickered endlessly. Opened and closed the door and it stopped. Now the display still has problems, it refuses to complete washing cycles, it doesn't drain the water from the bottom of the machine, so it is absolutely useless. It never dried well. Believe all of the negative LG dishwasher reviews that are all over the internet. LG makes the worst dishwashers of all manufacturers. We've owned GE, Maytag, and most of the major manufacturers. Sales and service repair folks will admit the average lifespan is 6-7 years with these new dishwashers, and that's what we've experienced, except for LG.

Does a better job or drying than our previous models- make sure to use a rinse aid. Makes all the difference whe it comes to drying. The third level is a great addition for the large and/or awkward utensils.

It is nicer since the inside is all stainless. The added 3rd rack at the top was nice in theory but it causes condensation to drip down on the dishes even after an extra dry and night dry cycle. This model’s best practice would be to run then immediately unload when finished the dry cycle.

Probably better to get it from somewhere else.
