    Do not buy this dishwasher

    This dishwasher does not get dishes clean and especially does not get silverware clean. Also even though some dishes look clean they still have a film on them. I load the dishwasher according to instructions and have tried a few different locations for certain items. I hear water come into tub but not much agitation goes on. Today I didn't open the dishwasher until about an hour after it had stopped running. The silverware was all wet and some plates and dishes were only partially dry. And again some table knives and most spoons were not clean. They have all food scraped off before I put them in. It took 6 weeks to get the dishwasher installed after I bought it. That's another bad story. I've run it 3 times since and each load is the same story...it is not doing the job of dishwashing. This is my 3rd dishwasher over a period of many years. I have never had a problem with the others. I do not recommend that anyone buy this dishwasher. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

    Stay away from this one.

    One month after warranty expires (2 years), the dishwasher no longer works through a complete cycle. Front panel lights all flash and beep. As I research, this is a common problem with this LG dishwasher. Probably the Control Panel module, which is very difficult to find, probably due to the many failures on this unit. We bought this unit along with an LG Oven, and LG refrigerator, which are performing very well. Dishwasher was great until fatal failure. We will replace the dishwasher now, but not with the LG branding.

    Horrible dishwasher! We've had this model just over a year and teh control panel started fritzing and not finishing the cycle. LG refuses to repair it so I'm out $300 in parts and labor! HORRIBLE service. This is a KNOWN DEFECTIVE PART yet they still refuse to resolve my issue. This is nothing but an expensive paper weight at this point. And their stove sucks too! I'll never buy another LG appliance.

    Don’t buy an LG dishwasher

    This Dishwasher is crap. Don’t buy one. Don’t believe the good reviews. We bought this a year and a half ago. It says 10 year warranty right on the front panel. The water pump is broke. $500 to repair. Not covered under warranty. We paid &650 for the dishwasher. You also have to clean the filter frequently for it to clean properly

    Known issue with main control board

    Run do not buy! We purchased this dishwasher 14 months ago and it already needs a new control board. This is a known issue with LG dishwashers since 2015. There is currently a class action lawsuit. We had an LG authorized technician in and the quoted $795 for the repair. When we mentioned that the part was still under warranty the tech told us we would have to pay them and then try to get the money from LG. We then contacted LG and they sent a part authorization to repair company. The new quote for the repair was now $495!. Keep in mind this is a ten minute repair! We then asked LG to send the new part directly to us and they told us this is against company policy and only an authorized technician can have the part shipped. Save yourself a lot of money and heartache and stay away.

    Do Not Buy This

    Do not buy this dishwasher. I bought this over a year ago and now it wont even complete a cycle and would stop working. We called the manufacturer and they said warranty is only offered for 1 year. Goodbye $700.

    Highly Disappointed

    Paid for installation which was delayed the day of with no explanation. I chatted with customer support who advised the product was damaged during shipping. That's fine and I appreciate the attention to care. But when I asked how much I would be compensate for the delay since I paid for it, neither the agent nor superiors could tell me an amount. They'll could only promise there would be gift card credits. Without knowing how much, I canceled my order. If Best Buy can't answer a simple question about an issue that is their fault, I am not going to shop with them anymore. Wayne too many other options out there with better service. Beware when buying from "Best" Buy.

    Bought in 2022 and it makes a grinding sound and now leaks. Got a qoute for 350 from LG to come look at it. Wont be buying another LG product again

    Awful machine. Broke after less than two years. Control panel and motor need to be replaced. Using the 10 year warranty on the motor is a joke. Two of the companies LG gave me to contact won't even work on their stuff due to not being paid for past warranty work. I do not recommend LG

    Poor design

    Got this dishwasher with the refrigerator, stove, and microwave. All matching LG appliances and we love them all except this dishwasher. Poorly designed, the way the racks are made it doesnt hold much and there is no real place for bowels. The glass rack only accommodates short glasses, taller ones hit the small utensils rack up top. Also, it doesn't dry the dishes completely even on the longest dry cycle. I have someone coming out to look at it. Over all I want to return it and exchange it for something else. Very surprised LG put their name on this !!

    Time waster

    Read good reviews and bought this dish washer. Installed. BIG mistake. No express wash or rinse only cycles. No half an hour quick wash. The fastest cycle takes 2 HOURS!!! Good if you want to waste time. You can’t put away dinner dishes before going to bed unless you want to stay awake and be tired next morning. The priority next morning is to attend to dishes before anything!

    Lemon product

    Motor and mother board stopped working within months of each other after a year. Lg repaired the motor but not the mother board, so I had to purchase a new dishwasher.

    Dishwasher smells like pond water.

    From the first day being installed the dishwasher has smelled like fishy pond water. No matter the brand or style of detergent it makes everything stink. If you try to leave the door open it makes the house smell. Water is good, it is plumbed upstream of the P trap along with the high loop in the discharge line. No matter what we’ve tried that smell won’t leave. Pulled the seal cleaned it. Affresh dishwasher cleaner, distilled vinegar. Nothing will take smell away. Called LG direct and they say this is normal for them to smell fishy. Highly recommend staying away from this brand.

    Control panel LEDs don't light

    LG warranty does not include the control panel after 1 year. The LED display on mine began to go dead after the 1 year parts and warranty period. LG warranty covers the control board, but not the control panel for 2 years.
