A dishwasher is one of the best purchases that you can make unless you never cook at all. This LG is great at cleaning up just about anything and virtually pays for itself if the dread of cleaning is pushing you to order food more than you otherwise would. If I don't have a lot of dishes on a given day I'll just leave them in the machine until it fills up. Most things come out clean, including very dirty pots and plates, but there are a few items that may need a second wash or manual cleaning rarely. It doesn't seem to like ranch dressing in plastic containers, and when washing plastic always make sure it is dishwasher safe. Heavily soiled forks/knives/spoons are best washed in the bottom cutlery rack and not the top rack. The prongs on the racks could be better spaced. I once had a Bosch model that had them spaced perfectly and always held anything I loaded securely. The prongs on the LG sometimes have trouble keeping items in place depending on the size. This is mostly a problem when I'm loading things that I know will collect water if oriented a certain way like a cup with an indented bottom. It's not a huge issue, but it could lead to spilling some water when you unload the unit. Drying is great outside of items that collect water, but make sure to use rinse aid for the best performance. If you can try to avoid pot handles with indentations on the underside to avoid pooling of water, or find ways to orient them to avoid pooling. The detergent receptacle is a little tight and the dishwasher tablets I use need to be squeezed in a tiny bit, but they have never failed to deploy during a wash. Using gel or powder avoids this issue, but I've found the tablets to be the best for heavy duty washing. Less expensive gel is adequate for most loads. There are a number of wash cycles. I use Auto with Energy Saver the most often, however Energy Saver will not always clean heavily soiled items. The Turbo cycle is good for baking pans with burnt on food. There is also a dual zone option to allow heavy cleaning on the top or bottom and a gentle cycle on the other. Express has been useful for situations where dishes are needed right away and half load allows for economic cleaning of smaller loads. The only maintenance I need to do is to run a high temp cycle with a dishwasher cleaning tab or liquid a few times a year. Lastly there was no need to connect to a phone to use it, which is a major plus when so many products are sold while being reliant on some completely unnecessary external device. This is a great product with only a few minor quirks.

    LG MAKES A GREAT DISHWASHER

The first thing I noticed about the dishwasher is how quiet it is. I had to look at the front controls to make sure it was running. Then I put a Pyrex dish in the dishwasher. I had baked a chicken in it and the fat from the chicken and the duck sauce I had used was really baked into the dish. Normally I would have to soak this over night. I didn't even lay this in flat, but stood it up right on one of the sides of the bottom tray. I set the dishwasher for heavy wash. When the washer finished and I took out this dish, it was 100% clean. I was impressed. But then the other night I had another pyrex dish that also had baked in grease and sauce. This time I laid it down flat, so the dish faced the bottom of the dishwasher and set the wash for normal. It came out as clean as the one I had set to heavy wash. This is a great dishwasher. Although it is the exact same size as the one I had owned before, it has a lot more room inside. I'm able to put tall item on the bottom shelve that I would not have been able to do in my older dishwasher. There is also a lot more room for the silverware. The top shelve also holds more drinking glasses. I definately recommend this washer.

Overall, the dishwasher is a good one. It’s very quiet. I’m still trying to figure my way through some things with the cycles. It seems like there are some really long cycles. The salesman that sold it to me was a really good salesman. He walked us through everything. One thing I would say that is a minus the plug that the dishwasher comes with. If you have to plug into a shared outlet with your dishwasher, you won’t be able to do it. It comes with an angled plug. I had to order aIf you have to plug into a shared outlet with your dishwasher, you won’t be able to do it. It comes with a angled plug. I had to order a new plug and have it install installed.

This dishwasher replaced my 8 year old Thermador dishwasher I think it actually cleans better and runs for less time and is very quiet. So far I am very impressed with it. My husband loves the front display of the remaining time to complet the cycle. The thermador had a blue light on the bottom to display on the floor and he said he couldn’t see it and would open always open the dishwasher in heat dry as he could tell if it was done or not. Hopefully I get the lifetime out of this appliance. I just purchased the LG stove this past week. Queens like this year has been one appliance after another going to the appliance grave yard after 8 years of life. They don’t make them like the used to

I like my LG=24" dishwasher. It is super quiet. I have to remember to look at the controls to know that it is running. Inserting the silverware in the container takes a little extra time; however, the silverware comes out clean. The smudge free outside is also a plus for the dishwasher. So far, I am happy with my purchase and its performance.

It's been two weeks and it's working fine. All of the features are nice, especially the third upper rack. NOTE: this is our second unit this month because the first one arrived with a huge dent. The installation crew were very helpful about this. We decided to install the damaged unit while at the same time they called BB service and immediately reported the damage and requested a new replacement unit. We received the replacement unit in 7 days. The same install crew arrived and were able to swap out the damaged unit and install the new unit in under 45 minutes.

This LG 24" dishwasher has been a true asset in our home. With a large family, dishes stack up quickly, and the spacious interior with a third rack makes it easy to load everything—from utensils to oversized pots. The QuadWash system delivers consistently clean results, even after big meals. I appreciate how sleek and smudge-resistant the stainless steel finish is, especially with kids constantly in and out of the kitchen. Whether it’s a regular weeknight or a holiday gathering, this dishwasher keeps cleanup simple and stress-free.

The price is higher than several models, it's tricky to use the side mounts because you gotta go through 2 holes on each side with a quarter inch gap between and they don't really line up. Plus, I still prefer the utensile rack in the door. But, the third rack really is a useful bonus. It stands on 3 feet instead of 4, which, I think, made leveling easier. It'll throw up error codes if something is wrong, which are included in the book. Plus it really is the quietest dishwasher I've ever known.

Definitely an upgrade from the low end dishwasher that came with our house. It's super quiet to the point that I don't even realize it's running. The only time I can hear it washing a little louder is when it's on one of the turbo/express cycles because it's using more water and the jets are spraying harder, but's it's still a lot more quiet than the cheap unit we had. Dishes are clean, dries decently, lots of space and tray set up options, lots of wash options. Would highly recommend! Exterior is nice and still haven't had to polish the stainless steel even after months of using it daily. Installed it myself and it was pretty easy. Took less than 2 hours.

Love the new dishwasher! Three racks is awesome! Lots of space for our uses. Only complaint is that it is a bit noisier than I thought it would be. Works Great! Love that the upper rack has to height settings. You have these for many years, so I am happy I got this one with all the great features!

I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher, and it’s been a game-changer for my kitchen. This machine is whisper-quiet, operating at just 42 dB, so I barely notice it running, even during late-night cycles. The sleek stainless steel design fits seamlessly into my modern kitchen, and the spacious interior, with its adjustable racks and third utensil rack, easily handles everything from delicate glassware to heavy pots. The cleaning performance is outstanding—dishes come out sparkling, even on the eco cycle, thanks to the PrecisionWash system that targets every corner. The AutoAir feature, which slightly opens the door post-cycle, ensures everything dries completely without a hint of water spots. I also love the smart connectivity; I can start or monitor cycles from my phone, which is super convenient when I’m busy. Energy efficiency is a big plus—it’s ENERGY STAR certified, and I’ve noticed a dip in my utility bills. The only minor gripe is the initial learning curve with the control panel, but once you get the hang of it, it’s intuitive. Overall, this Bosch dishwasher combines cutting-edge tech, stellar performance, and sleek design. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen cleanup!

LG 24"Front Control Dishwasher customer evaluation

Dishwasher is ok but is going to take a little getting used to when compared to the GE unit that it replaced. Because it incorporates a handle flush with the front of the unit it doesn't have a handle to protect the front controls (or hang a dishtowel) and allows for the controls to be frequently activated when you just brush against it and is very annoying. The loading is odd and doesn't seem to have any place for glasses with recessed bottoms to be loaded on enough of an angle to drain and they will still have a little water left after drying unless the extended dry mode is selected. The unit while quiet is not as quiet as the GE dishwasher it replaced and especially in the water charge and discharge modes for some reason. So far I have no complaints about It getting the dishes clean but the full cleaning cycle is at least an hour longer when compared to the previous GE unit it replaced. Even if ok it we should have asked for the unit to be replaced however with all the added charges for installation we had already spent about twice as much as we originally anticipated.

My last diswasher dies the Saturday before Thanksgiving and family was due to come in on Tuesday. I ordered on Saturday and it was delivered and installed by Monday. This is a definite upgrade from my previous Bosch. Its quiet, quick, washes well and dries perfectly. The racks are easy to adujst and you can do everything from large pots to delicate glassware. I use it most every day and zero issues. Delivery and installation were perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Seems to be working just fine. It will probably break within five years like every other LG dishwasher I've owned. Can't give it a 5 star since I've only had it installed for less than a month. Sad that engineers can't engineer things to last anymore. No money in appliances that last as long as a home.

I’ve been using my LG dishwasher for a few months now, and I’m beyond impressed. First off, it’s super quiet—you barely notice it’s running, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The cleaning power is excellent, even on tough, dried-on food. I no longer have to pre-rinse everything, which saves both time and water. The multiple cycles give a lot of flexibility, and the Turbo and QuadWash features really make a difference. I also love the adjustable racks and fold-down tines, which let me fit everything from tall wine glasses to large pots and pans. The sleek stainless steel design looks beautiful and modern in my kitchen. Energy-efficient, easy to use, and reliable—this LG dishwasher is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

This replaced a much more expensive Bosch that we bought about 10 years ago. We didn't go Bosch again because, for the premium price, I would have expected it to last longer. It broke three times and was repaired twice before it died for good. My wife and I prefer this one anyways. More and better features like the night time dry. Better interior configuration and easier to load. Dries the dishes better. Not quite as quiet. But still very quiet. Seems to be good. I'll update this review if the dishwasher breaks. 90% of what I care about with appliances is if they last a reasonable amount of time.

So far the dishwasher is working fine, my wife loves the controls on the front so they are visible when the unit is on. The interior layout of the trays are well designed. What really impressed me is when I installed it the bottom of the unit had all the wires, hoses, motor covered and there were two paths that the water line and power line had a clear run to the front of the unit. Very well designed. Other units have all that equipment fully exposed and you have to “snake” the water and power through all that to get to the front of the unit. Also, delivery guy, Miguel was very professional and helpful. Thank you,

Great dishwasher but you have to buy a kit with it

Great dishwasher I give it 4.5! Very quiet and cleans well. You hear the water spraying the inside of the container more than the hum of the appliance. The push buttons are a little finicky and you have to be exact with placement. You won’t be disappointed with it. The 3rd rack at the top is good for extra stuff but it doesn’t dry anything on that rack no matter how small. I find it very odd that dishwashers aren’t sold with a power cord making you buy the kit with it. The manufacturers actually “trust”homeowners to hook up their own electrical cord. Quite a bit of liability there. That’s my only negative issue with it.
