Incompatible HDMI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to hook up to a HP tower with DP++ port only to discover that it’s incompatible with a hdmi to dp adapter. When I called LG’s customer service, their solution was to simply buy a Vga cord and use it in analog. I actually set it up this way just to play with it and was almost immediately getting hdcp errors forcing me to switch purchased hd content to sd to view. Needless to say, but that’s unacceptable, and had to return it and buy a HP monitor for about $20 more, which subsequently is about the price of a vga cord I’d have to buy. Definitely one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had buying technology.

Won't switch on if converting to a 2-pronged plug
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in an older apartment with only 2-pronged wall outlets. I used a 3-to-2 adapter to plug it into the wall. For a brief moment the bottom light flashed, and then nothing - the monitor won't turn on at all. I tried different outlets and got the same result. I haven't had this problem with any other electronics. Unfortunately I had to return it.

For Mac Users
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at all the info before buying and it said nothing of it not working with a MacBook Air. When I tried to hook it up to my computer I discovered the cord didn't go into my computer. I was really excited and am now really disappointed that I either have to spend even more money to buy another cord, or return it.
