Very clean dishes, very quiet, but poor drying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dishwasher looks good, BB did a great job of installation, it runs quiet, washes perfectly, but drying is not good. There is still a lot of water in the unit after drying, even on extra dry. It pools on the cups and stays on the silverware and causes us to dry many items when unloading. Overall, good experience thus far (only a couple weeks), expected better drying. No pop-open night time dry option.

Need to put on high heat and high dry and steam to fully clean and dry. Loading examples are for large silverware settings but not help for 2 people normal loading during the week. Found loading awkward compared to last dishwasher.

I was told a service contractor would call me and set up a time to come out and fix the machine. That was 3 weeks ago 3 calls to Lg and I just keep getting g the run around.

Less than 3 years of use the LE code showed on the display. The motor (with a 10 year manufacturer warranty) is seized so now i have a $1200 paper weight. Since it did not break within a year, they are charging me to replace the motor. Save your money and buy a different dishwasher.

When the cyle is finished I have to rewash all the dishes. Even on the highest settings the performance is Terrible! The dishwasher is less than a month old, I contacted Best Buy and because i did not purchase the protection plan I will have to pay for them to come out and look at it. This is so ridiculous. I call Lg and the customer service representative did not even know what he was doing. He instructed me to open the dishwasher after the cycle is over to let the dishes dry. I can’t believe that these companies are such a huge rip off to customers. If there was an option to give 0 star I would have done that. I do not recommend Lg products to anyone, stay away!!!

Lemon - STAY AWAY - Good 2 years then Junk

Year 3 I had a rubber grommet with a hole so the top of the unit doesn't get water. Then months later the motor stopped working. the additional warranty said those cost so much they will not honor the rest of the time. I have a rusted top rank, but the biggest problem is the slide for the top rack will not work. Don't buy this lemon.
