Not pleased with dishwasher

We have called LG and tried each step they have suggested and still dishes have to be run through a cycle 2 and 3 times. Cannot use the third or top rack at all, as nothing placed on that top rack does not get clean.

If I wasn’t desperate for a dishwasher I would’ve returned it. The parts are made so poorly and the sliding gliders fall off the track easily. The prongs to support the dishes fold easily and don’t support simple cups. There’s no room on the top shelf for my cups as there is a useless top tray that doesn’t fit anything useful. It’s loud and my stuff doesn’t get clean because they get knocked down by the useless prongs. Run don’t walk away from this dishwasher.

VERY dissatisfied with customer service !!!!!!

Just installed yesterday by plumber keeps reading AE and won’t shut off was told by plumber it is defective and should be replaced!!!!!!! LG customer service rep told me to shut off water supply and turn off circuit breaker, I am a 70 yr old with head injury and do not know where or how to do it. I paid plumber $410. to install and would have to pay for an emergency call for $125.00 for him to come back. LG said will replace but can’t get anyone out here for 10 days so will be running for 10 days how’s that for customer service . Seriously think twice before you buy anything from Best Buy!!!!!

Loud and terribly engineered

This dishwasher is so loud we often times have to turn our TV up while it’s running. It pushes water through the hoses so loudly that it sounds like a jet plane is taking off. This thing is so poorly designed it’s laughable. The racks are terrible. They have it so the small tong pieces fold down so you can put bigger dishes/bowls in it but they fall down all the time so if you just put a plate or cup in the dishwasher the whole rack falls down. Way over engineered. We run our dishwasher 5 days a week with a large family and I’m sad I am stuck with this price of junk for the next 5+ years until it breaks. I’d stay away from LG as a brand all together.

Open box return was leaky

I was assured it had been tested and everything was in order. This was not accurate. I'm sure it had been tested to ensure it turned on but it was not actually connected to a water line to check for leaks. When I installed it at home, I realized it leaked and that is probably why it had been returned. Best Buy return policy is great and I did receive a full refund but this experience has definitely deterred me from buying any further open box appliances going forward.

good for 6 months.

Followed the troubleshooting, still making the sound. Tried to get warranty service. Got a rude run around and pretty much had to plea for service, told that I will be charged for service if it isn't related to a defect and hung up on. OK well I had just ordered the same dishwasher for another part of my house just before this started Cancelling that order. Too many other options than to deal with this again.

Would not dry.

After a cycle water would be dripping everywhere. I even had Extra Dry selected. We called and had this one picked up and replaced with a Bosch which actually works quite nicely. I can’t add a photo of it because it’s already gone.

Posted .Thank you so much for your review, However, We see you've given us only a 1 star review rating. We recognize that issues with your LG Dishwasher can be quite inconvenient. We've come to alleviate your concerns, and provide you some solutions that will hopefully change our 1 to a 5 rating. Meanwhile, Please inspect the unit to ensure that there is no food or debris caught in any narrow spaces or at the bottom. Next, Use citric acid powder or vinegar instead use around 3 table spoons of citric acid in measured compartment and run auto cycle. Pour approximately 7-10 oz of vinegar into a shallow bowl and place in the upper rack of the dishwasher.(Note: Do not pour vinegar directly into the base) run auto cycle and do not use detergent. Last tip: Use a rinse aid to get dishes completely dry. Also, check to see if you have hard water. Quick way to check. Fill the bottle about one-third with water straight from your tap, add a few drops of pure liquid soap and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Next, set the bottle down and observe the solution. If there are no fluffy bubbles in the water or it appears cloudy and/or milky, your water is hard. Hope this helps. Wet dishes

I called LG and they said that because it dry with condensation, then it will NOT dry like a regular dishwasher. So besides you having to dry the dishes, you also need to dry the machine. Noisy motor in 3 weeks.

I just asked it to be returned and ordered a new one which differnt maker. Very annoying and time wasted on this when you pay almost 1000 for a dishwasher. This is my 1st LG experience.

Does its job but noisy.

AWFUL

Bad product
