  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Condenser drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Re LG - 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack, QuadWash Pro and 44dba - Stainless steel 1. Does this have heated dry feature? 2. Does it have a sanitized rinse feature? 3. Do the racks have ball bearings?

A: Hello Audrey. The LG Smart Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash® Pro, TrueSteam® and Dynamic Dry®, Model # LDPS6762S does not rely on a heating element for the drying process; instead, it relies on the heat that is retained by the dishes and the tub during the wash and rinse cycles to turn the moisture in the tub into humidity. Warm, moist air in the dishwasher is then pulled into a condensing duct in the door by a fan. The air then cools, which causes the humidity to condense. Room temperature air is also drawn into the duct to help the air cool down faster. When this moisture condenses into a liquid, it is drained out. Rinse aid is required to enhance the drying performance. If no rinse aid is used, water may remain on the dishes and the tub. Dynamic Dry® with TrueSteam® uses four powerful steam jets on the door, plus additional jets on the top and bottom, to super-heat the interior for drier dishes. If the Steam option is added to a cycle, the Sanitized indicator stays lit at the end of the cycle if the dishes were properly sanitized (except the Refresh cycle). The racks do not have bearings, they have rollers...^Ivan

Q: We’ve had this dishwasher for just under a year and it has recently begun to leak from the vent on the bottom of the door. It doesn’t do it every time, but it does it enough that it’s starting to damage the floor. Is this a common problem?

A: We’ve had no leaking issues with our LG dishwasher. When it was first installed some of the hoses leaked a little but the dishwasher itself has never had a problem.
