The ice machine being in door really gives you a lot more room and although small, we’ve never run out of ice. Quite too.

Lost $200+ dollars of groceries. Bought the warranty through Best Buy and the unit is also under warranty with LG. It’s been over a month in the middle of a pandemic with 7 children and I still can’t get anyone out here to come fix it and I’ve been on hold with Geek Squad for an hour and ten minutes this morning just for someone to finally pick up the phone and immediately they hung up. Now I’m back on hold and it’s been over 25 minutes trying to talk to someone and get some help. Don’t buy this unit. I’m told even after they fix it, that this will be an issue every 2 years. Don’t waste your money on the warranty from Best Buy either bc it hasn’t done me any good at all.

Overall it is a good refrigerator as far as the look goes... But following are the cons; 1) Ice it makes is very small and it melts very very quickly! 2) Water taste is very bad (my old refrig. had a better taste) 3) The wireless connection is useless, it does not even alert you when the door is left open!! My suggestion: Go get a different brand!
