    Water dispenser will not stop; Frost issue

    We purchased this LG model in December 2017 and have experienced multiple issues in less than 2 years. 1. In door water dispenser would not stop, water leak all over the kitchen floor. This happened less than 6 months after purchase 2. LG sent local technician to replace the door with the water/ice dispenser, the repleaced door is now having the following issues: water dispenser leaking water again, door does not close tightly causing noticeable buzzing noise. 3. Ice and frost build up in the bottom freezer drawer

    Dont buy this piece of junk unless you want to have to buy a new one after 4 yrs its nice and shiney but really a piece of junk. dont be fooled and LG does not stand by the products they will take your credit card info put a $600 hold on it before they even come out to repair it what a joke.

    Don’t buy; only last 8 years; problem from the get go. First was the ice maker, motor, evaporator motor assembly and it’s not worth fixing all the breakdown with the evaporator motor assembly per C&T Appliance Repair (Collin Tucker)

    Doesn't last

    At 2 years old had to have the ice maker replaced, and now at 6 years old they are replacing the compressor. Repairman said there is a parts shortage because of how many of these they are doing nation wide. 7 to 10 days to get parts. Just another poor quality foreign made product. I also have an LG washer and dryer, had to have transmission replaced on washer.

    LG 4 door refrigerator- looked great in the store but after 3 years the cooling system went out and we lost several hundred dollars of food. LG knows there is a problem with this part so they warranty it for ten years, but not the expensive labor. Two years later the same part went bad. We will be replacing this refrigerator after 5 years and 6 months. DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR!

    quit working in 2 year

    I bought this in Nov 2018, In 2 years, I have to call technician twice, first time, the evaporator fan motor went bad and had to pay everything from my pocket and now the compressor quit working. I called LG and their authorized seller and they don't know when the new compressor will be available. Very disappointed with all my LG products

    Worked fine for 6 years, then died

    This fridge worked fine for 6 years and then simply broke down and could not be repaired - a real lemon. Not what you'd expect for an appliance of that cost, from a manufacturer with a good reputation! We purchased the fridge 6 years ago for $2099 and were very satisfied with it. However a few days ago it just stopped working. After a 2 hour examination, a repairman determined there was an internal leak of the coolant, freon, that was unrepairable. (The unite was unmoved from its original location and had not suffered any damage). Best Buy told me to contact the manufacturer; LG offered a 15% discount off a new LG fridge purchased on their website. A $2099 fridge should not stop working after 6 years!

    Regret Purchasing

    DO NOT BUY this refrigerator. We purchased new in April of 2018. This review is April of 2021. Just over 3 years old and there is an issue w/ the sealed system, so unless we want to spend $100s of dollars to have the issue addressed and fixed we have to purchase a new refrigerator. The repair man advised against fixing as there are so many other items that go out on this refrigerator.

    We only had this fridge for 2 years and the freezer already gave out. It only cools to the temperature of the refrigerator. The ice maker also stopped working on us.

    Terrible Water Dispenser

    The water dispenser does not work. Called the repair people and they refuse to fix it. They blamed my water pressure. So I got a plumber in, and there's nothing wrong with my water pressure. Thanks for nothing LG! $2,000 not well spent. Worst purchase I have ever made.

    Very noisy!

    Refrigerator is very loud. The technicians who have looked at my fridge say all fridges are this loud, but I haven't heard any other fridges that are this loud. They also replaced the compressor without giving me a solid reason why. I'd try a different manufacturer... The noise is super annoying in a great room.

    Super Sucky Fridge

    DO NOT BUY!!! Bought in January of 2020 and the ice machine wouldn’t work within 2 years. Got the ice machine fixed and the. The fridge portion quit working the following year. $3k and in 3 years I’m already replacing it. RUN! side note LG customer is a JOKE!!

    Do not buy this product unless you want problems.

    Broke within two years. We were weeks without a refrigerator. Compressor stopped working. Had to throw out most of the food ($300 worth). Repairman is still waiting on the part to be released from LG. Horrible service. Will never buy another LG product. Do yourself a favor, call any repair shop and ask them what they think of LG products.

    I ordered this for deliver. They came and said, it won't fit through the door so we offered to take the door out but before we can do this, the driver said, we don't have time as we have many other orders and just left.I was very disappointed in the delivery service as we were in urgent need of this.

    $2000 Refrigerator dead in 1 year!

    Bought this fancy looking thing thinking it would last more than a year. I was mistaken! Compressor gave out within 11 months. Had repair guy replace the compressor 4 times!!!! Every time a new one was installed, the unit died 4 days later. If you like to throw your money in the trash, buy this junk.

    I bought this refrigerator back in 2017 with the best buy warranty for three years. It stopped cooling 2 days ago. lost all the food in the freezer. Called LG to try and get a repairman out to fix it. They supposedly set up a appointment but I haven't heard from anyone yet. A refrigerator should last longer than 3 years for the price you pay. I'll never buy from LG again !!!!
