There IS a border on all sides and it is inside the bezel on the screen. Side by side there is a significant black space. It only has one HDMI and no onboard speaker like others. The worst part? It has a small brick power supply. It is just wide enough that you cannot plug in anything else adjacent on a power strip or UPS. Too many down ticks. Returned them and using my original 24" Asus.
