This monitor looks amazing. After using it for about 2 weeks I couldn't stand looking at my lcd (second monitor) so I went and picked up another one. It seems they go on sale quite often for $399.99 and for that price you can't really beat it. They're the perfect size, has 2 hdmi, 1 displayport, and a headphone jack in the back. The stock monitor stand that comes with it moves up and down for personal preference with great ease. Default stand also rotates 90 degrees clockwise for vertical viewing. I personally picked up a dual monitor stand as it gives me more desk space on my desk, again, personal preference.

Most well-designed monitor I have owned to date - both mechanically and electronically. I was particularly impressed with the user interface which is 100% mechanical and easily accessible from the front of the panel but not the least bit obtrusive. I expected great graphics and I got them. The colors are fully saturated. The black has an enormous dynamic range. The white is extremely white. There is no overcast hanging over the display such as exists in so many other monitors out there. The stand looked a little awkward at first meeting but you will find it extremely stable and the concave design allows for stuffing things like clocks, wireless speakers and other paraphernalia under the monitor and out of the way. The dual display using the 27 inch diagonal size makes it easy to get what amounts to a four-foot horizontal length on my 6-foot desk top. I have never been so pleased with the freedom to work with multiple screens. I run them at 150% when doing a lot of text work which is a display setting in Windows 10 OS. Make sure you have the 1080 NVIDIA graphics card when running dual displays, You can get by with the 1070 for a single display. Adjusting the height and tilt is a breeze (you just push gently in the direction you want it to go). It even flips easily 90 degrees if you want to work with large portrait displays. Highly recommend this monitor (or two of them).

This screen is amazing. I have had no issues what so ever owned it for about 3 months. Not a single dead pixel. The screen stand and mounting options are really good. The stand it's self is very heavy duty and you can Tilt swivel and rise it up and down about 10 inches or so. The screen itself has amazing colors, and the construction of everything is very sexy and sleek. Anyone looking for a ultra hd should defenatly look at this LG they did it right. Only thing I see as a con is limited inputs.

I first went with the Samsung UE590 and I ended up returning it. The blacks were washed out and it just didn't look as good as a $400 monitor should. I ended up with this LG 4K monitor and I am simply amazed. I use it with my Ps4 Pro and it is gorgeous. Beautiful blacks, many features and options to tinker with, excellent stand with height adjustment. I am so genuinely pleased with this purchase. If you bought the Samsung, return it for this one. You will be so glad you did.

The base/stand of the monitor is adjustable and sturdy. The image is sharp and color is very good. You will have to upscale 150% so that text is large enough to comfortably read given the 27 inch size; therefore, you will have the same screen work surface area as the size of a 27 inch 2560 x 1440. Even given that, things are shaper on the screen compared to a 2560 x 1440.

I purchased this monitor thinking it was the UD68 model but noticed this one had a Pivot stand so I was curious in the difference and turns out it's the same monitor just that is is height adjustable. ANYWAY!! it's a gorgeous piece of hardware no flaws at this point.

I'm using 4k screen to show 4 additional desktops at once. Very handy. Full screen also very nice with Adobe Lightroom. Overall size fits well on desk next to laptop. Nice to have up/down positioning on stand.

We bought this monitor for our new 2017 13th inch MacBook Pro, it works very well with the same and the text and graphics come out so sharp and clear. We love this monitor and are thinking about adding one to my office laptop setup. Also this model comes with the adjustable stand that goes up and down as well rotates from portrait to landscape mode easily, I have seen another model which is same monitor with different stand, glad I went on to buy this one vs other.

Picked this up shortly after upgrading my graphics card in my pc to do some 4k gaming. And for the price, you can't beat this monitor , plus it's from a reputable company. The telescopic stand and rotating screen is excellent to change viewing position or if you have it as a second monitor.

I have the this version and the previous iteration of this model and the new one is a massive step in the right direction. The Stand is a night and day improvement over the last one and the monitor remains stabled even when the desk it bumped. I am truly happy with this monitor.

I use this as a second display with my iMac (27" 2017) and it works very well. Out of the box the two monitors were a good bit different but with some tweaking and using a hardware calibration device they are "acceptably the same". Monitor is clear and has plenty of controls for color etc. The stand is sturdy and it has multiple connections. You can get better monitors but not without paying a good bit more.

I got three of these monitors at 399.99 each to use for cad work. So, color accuracy is not vital for my use. My biggest gripe is the matte screen finish. I was not able to find 4k monitors with glass gloss finish. The stand is very nice and easy to adjust. The whites are a little on the yellowish side, but I don't care about color accuracy, I only care about the black level. Gloss finish have much better black levels. Noticeable difference in black level when you go from display port to HDMI. Unfortunately, I'm using one of the three monitors with HDMI. Surprisingly, they were a hassle to get working on windows. If you can, load the monitor drivers before you switch over to the new monitor, so win10 1703 can find them when you switch over. Also, they go to sleep very quickly, and power down before the computer finishes booting if you power them up at the same time as the PC. I had to place them on a separate circuit and now turn them on 10-sec after I power-up the PC. Only one screw to hold the stand foot, looks like LG saved three cents and cost reduced the number of screws holding the foot to the stand. Early models on you-tube have two screws on the foot. I wonder what else they cost reduced?

    Wow!

This is my first 4K monitor and I just have to say WOW! Right out of the box, this unit is beautiful. The stand is sturdy and the mobility/range of the adjustable height and tilt is a huge plus. I had originally planned to put this on a vesa mounted arm but the stand adds a nice elegant look that I may just use. With very little adjustment, colors look great! No dead pixels! It took me a little while to get my PS4 Pro setup for 4K but once I did, I was blown away at the difference between 1080p. The gaming features on this monitor are awesome and make gaming on my HDTV no longer an option. The adjustable Gaming modes and freesync result in practically zero lag time. I'm able to respond and play more consistent than I ever have on my HDTV. Once I receive my new computer, I should be able to test out the 4K graphics output capability but even on 1080p with full RGM scale enabled - this was a huge step up in clarity. Also good to note is sound output. Yes there's no speakers but then again, you shouldn't expect any monitor speakers to be decent. I'm always wary about sourcing audio from a secondary source because of lag but I didn't notice any in testing it. For computers, I would still recommend sourcing it directly from the computer. All in all, so far it's perfection for the price. I got a great deal on it for Black Friday so I feel it's worth every penny. I can't speak on durability yet but I can comfortably say I'm completely happy with it being my first 4K monitor.
