Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the 4K resolution, picture quality, and price of the 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor. They appreciate the adjustable stand and the gaming experience with a FreeSync graphics card. While many customers rave about the monitor, a few wish it had built-in speakers.

    Worst 4K Display Output Quality

The display gives off a 1080p quality of the display. It appears gray in a lot of angles and compared to my 5K iMac, I just don't believe this is even 4K. You can see pixels on all icons and the resolution is just terrible. I've never experienced a "4K" display this bad. I've used it for a secondary monitor for a MacBook and even changed the GPU and calibrated it several ways through the NVIDIA app on my Windows 10 machine. I work in IT and work on computers for a living. I would have returned it, but I waited too long trying different things and now I'm stuck with it. The quality is so bad I even refuse to sell it and let down someone else's expectations.

    Not That Good

I ended up returning this. The monitor had great possibilities and I would have loved to keep it. First it's a beautiful monitor with a beautiful picture. Second it had dead pixels, terrible light bleed, and the ips glow was unbearable. If it didn't have those problems then it would have been great. I'm just going to hope this was a bad unit.

Good enough, if you don't need HDMI

I got three of these monitors at 399.99 each to use for cad work. So, color accuracy is not vital for my use. My biggest gripe is the matte screen finish. I was not able to find 4k monitors with glass gloss finish. The stand is very nice and easy to adjust. The whites are a little on the yellowish side, but I don't care about color accuracy, I only care about the black level. Gloss finish have much better black levels. Noticeable difference in black level when you go from display port to HDMI. Unfortunately, I'm using one of the three monitors with HDMI. Surprisingly, they were a hassle to get working on windows. If you can, load the monitor drivers before you switch over to the new monitor, so win10 1703 can find them when you switch over. Also, they go to sleep very quickly, and power down before the computer finishes booting if you power them up at the same time as the PC. I had to place them on a separate circuit and now turn them on 10-sec after I power-up the PC. Only one screw to hold the stand foot, looks like LG saved three cents and cost reduced the number of screws holding the foot to the stand. Early models on you-tube have two screws on the foot. I wonder what else they cost reduced?

    Don't touch your monitor!

I enjoyed this monitor for 2 years until one day I went to adjust it's vertical angle. It suddenly displayed multicolored lines and started smoking from the side where I gripped it. Unfortunately it is now dead. Beautiful display until I needed to actually grip the monitor and turn it upward.

    Disappointing Monitor

I am a bit disappointed with the performance of this monitor. It was advertised as a quality monitor for games, but because you have little control of the gamma settings and its limited ability to work with an apple mac pro, my games are dark on the screen and in some cases the brightness and contrast controls don't help at all. Also the adjustment switch is awkward to work with being under the monitor as opposed to buttons on the side which are easier to reach and are much more accessible.

Not very good, probably will return it soon. Screen blanks on me for 2-3 seconds at least couple times a day.

    Poor white point

Trying this monitor on a 15" MacBookPro. It's a little slow/lag and the white point it poor even after attempting to calibrate. Moved from an 27" iMac so hard to compare. With that said, it's $350 compared to $1000 Apple thunderbolt. I am returning it to try another.
