The pedestals are a nice thing to have, especially if you're getting older and lazier. Nice to be able to transfer the laundry without having to awkwardly bend over / sideways. Two complaints: one, the price seems a bit high for a metal box. And two, they recommend that you put something heavy in them, to help the system become less top-heavy, but the only things I would put in there are the detergent and bleach and OxyClean bottles, and the pedestal drawers aren't tall enough to fit them in there without tipping them on their side (not doing that, thank you very much).

I love the multi-purpose use the newer pedestal provides. Adding the laundry basket to the drawer is a nice option and addition.

The pedestals raised up my washer and dry to a more usable height.

I was told that my new dryer doesn't fit in the space where i had my old dryer because the new one is much larger in depth & because of the gas line spout is in the way (on my wall). I weighed all my options until i came up with the idea of buying a pedestal & open it at the back to accommodate the gas line spout. It did worked. Thank goodness. I put all my laundry supplies in there too. I love my new laundry area

True, it does make it easier to unload your machine but it puts the top so high, you can no longer use the top as a counter. I used to fold my clothes on top of my washer but now can't. Also the price of these things is prohibitive. I probably would not buy one again.

It is a great idea for extra storage space and raise the height for convenience. We enjoyed for doing our laundry

Great addition to our new LG washer and dryer set. We had GE pedestals before and knew we couldn't live without them. Great extra storage and raises the units up high enough to avoid having to bend over too much to reach into the washer or dryer. The drawers and build quality are smoother and better than the GEs we had.

Love these for storage, but more important is that they are saving my back. Though my washer was kaput, my dryer was still functioning and the main reason I purchased a new one was to make certain the laundry pair matched and that the pedestals were appropriate for the machines that I have.

It does what it claims - lifts the washer so it is easier to load and unload the clothes. A real back saver, but a little spendy at $250. But every pedestal from every manufacturer seems to be the exact same price. If you don't care about looks you could just use cinder blocks to accomplish the same thing.

If you are getting a front loader you really need to get a pedestal for it. It will save you from terminal back ache! Having the washer and dryer at a more comfortable height makes for an easier laundry day. I have one for both the washer AND the dryer.

Love having the drawer underneath & especially great not to have to bend over to use the washer.

They fit perfect for the LG units they pair with. The storage is adequate for all the detergents, dryer sheets, etc. that are needed for the clothes washing and drying operations. What was surprising is the improved ergonomics, for our front loading units having them sit on top of the pedestal makes it a lot easier to load and unload.
