Saves your Back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing much to say about these things except that they do save your back when bending over [without the pedestal] to fish out that sock that gets stuck against the back wall of the washer /dryer. The little extra storage in the pull-out drawer comes in handy for fabric softener sheets or detergent pellets or whatever you can fit in there.

Why I Think A Pedestal Is Worth It

A Must Have

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the LG Washer and Dryer without the pedestals, but had to later add them. The control panels were too hard to read on the face of the machines without bending down very low. The pedestals are a bit pricey at full price. I was lucky enough to get them at $200 each (vs $250). And using a BB GC as well as rewards points got me to essentially two for the price of one. That was a great buy.

Non necessary to have but get them anyway

I negotiated my price down for two of them. They were more reasonably priced afterwards. Make sure whoever Best Buy sends (contractor) that they leveled the machine correctly. I recommend getting them if you can talk the price down or they lower it substantially.
