We had a 9" high pedestal for our LG Washer and Dryer as that is all that was offered when we originally purchased our units. We thought it would be so nice to have a higher pedestal to save our backs when loading and unloading clothes. The price was exceptionally high but we went ahead and ordered. Had it installed and ended up getting severe vibration on the first heavy load of jeans. I mean the washer actually walked around the laundry room. After trying to stabilize the washer no less than a dozen times, it still has some serious vibration. I can't see the electronics on the washer holding up very much longer with all this shaking going on. I hear this is a common problem on wood floors but ours is concrete. Not worth it.

Couldn’t live without this because of recent hip surgery. I dont have to bend over with heavy clothes to shove them in.

Great storage capacity! Never realized how much easier my laundry life would be with this kind of storage space. It really allows you to tidy up your laundry room!

Good quality well made and easy to hook up to the machine. Pretty much a necessity with front loaders.

I am tall, so the pedestal was absolutely necessary. Washer and dryer at a perfect height!

Matches the one I bought with my washing machine a year ago. Easy to install by ourselves.

These bases are strong and seem very well built. They need to be so that the washer and dryer are well supported and don’t vibrate. They attach to the washer/dryer very solidly with the included bracketry. And the drawer slide action is smooth. Finally, I was glad they weren’t as tall as some competitors’ drawer pedestals; any taller and it wouldn’t have fit under the shelving above our washer and dryer. I do wish there was a better method managing where the dryer venting comes out, though; the base raised the exhaust point on the dryer too high for the in-wall port in my house. Finally, I still feel these are overpriced, even for being as sturdy as they are.

what a lift... no more bending over to get the last few items out of the dryer.... yes i do recommend this product.

It shouldn't cost this much to have a symmetrical-looking washer/dryer combo, so you'll feel ripped off buying it. Plus its pretty low height inside, so can't store as much as you'd like. But you'll still be happy how the end result looks at least.

A must have product with the LG front load dryer, We went with the Sidekick on our washer which raised it up perfectly. On the dryer the wife would have to bend considerably as it sat so low. With the pedestal the bending is minimal.

Not bad for what us is, but very over priced even on sale. We wanted to get our front loaders higher. Ad we age our older machines required a lot of bending. Personally if my laundry room layout were better I would have built a raised platform.

So handy to have! Recommend it so you can save your back to enjoy life longer. Think of the long term consequences, it’s worth it. It makes getting anything in and out of the machine, far easier.

I have a cubby that holds my new washer and dryer and the matching pedestals hold all the detergent and fabric softener perfectly. The extra height makes it easy to move the wet laundry to the dryer easily.

Completely add the best aesthetic appeal and so functional. No more back breaking bending down.

These drawers have been very useful, they are the size that is needed.

Being middle-aged and with a bad back, I felt the need to buy a pedestal, and I'm glad I did. I'm over 6' tall and do the laundry in the house, so not having to bend over so far to get stuff in and out of the W/D is wonderful! Plus it has storage, so that's a bonus.
