The old pedestal did not fit the new LG washer so I had to buy a new one which fits perfectly .I like that I don't have to bend down so far while unloading.

The unexpected consequence is that it is a farther reach to get into the overhead cabinets about the washer and dryer. I just don't put frequently used stuff above the washer/dryer.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the pedestals fit my washer and dryer and look OK I'm rating this two stars because they do do hold a standard 92 oz jug of Tide detergent or a standard size bottle of Downy fabric softener or a half gallon of bleach. The drawers are 1-2 inches too short to accommodate the bottles standing up. I have to lay bottles down on their sides to make them fit. The manufacturers should have done better research to determine the proper size of their pedestals for the US market considering the size of the product containers that would go in them I did not have an issue with pedestal size on my last Kenmore washer/dryer purchase.

The pair look great with the matching LG washer and dryer. They are about 1/2" higher on the outside than my old Whirlpool set but over an inch more room inside all around.

I won't penalize the product because of a warehouse issue! Oh i forgot to mention, it was both pedestals that was damanaged.

The drawers are roomy but the height is not tall enough to fit 11" jugs of detergent or softener.
