I like being able to wash a couple of delicates while I’m doing the rest of the laundry. The only drawback is that sometimes I forget to put the fabric softener in and the delicates that I usually wash are meant to be air dried so I have to toss the delicates in dryer with dryer sheet for a few minutes. Extra step. The fabric softener issue (having to add the softener in the middle of the load) is the reason for 4 instead 5 stars. Another thing to consider is that the shortest cycle is 40 minutes. Hasn’t been a problem for me as I run two short washes in the big washer anyway so that takes more than 40 minutes. All in all, has been good this summer as the kids are home from college and there is extra laundry

I enjoy every time when I wash my intimates in it! It doesn’t scrambled and always in perfect condition after every cycle! I’m so happy to have that pedestal with that smart and mini washer!

Love the fact that it's designed for little loads such as the red/pink clothes that you don't have enough to do a full load but you need to wash it and get it out of the way. It's also great for socks and small items.

Like most other reviews, though this would be foolish, but caught it on sale and couldn't pass up. We love having it. It is perfect for delicates and items you want to wash separately, such as items with colors that bleed.

Great unit for small, delicate items that you don’t want to put in the larger washer. I use it for ball caps and shoes.

Great little machine for small loads! I find myself using it a lot for delicates! Highly recommend it if you want to speed up your laundry chores!

Love that I can do little loads with a small amount of soap and water being used instead of throwing just a rowel or two in the big wash or searching for something else to put in with it. Total game changer!!

This does the job for small hand wash jobs for your delicates, and it doubles as a beautiful pedestal. A little expensive, but given the price of the main unit it's a fair price for an add-on unit.

I was not sure if this would be worth it. But, I can do small loads of laundry while I do towels or sheets in the large machine. It is also great if you just want to wash a shirt. It cleans beautifully.

If laundry could ever be deemed pleasurable this little Sidekick would be the reason. Great for small, delicate or just a quick wask. So happy with the purchase

So glad that i included this in the purchase with my washer and dryer. It makes it easy to wash things when you only have a couple items. They installed everything for free and it works great!

I got this SideKick as part of a LG package with my LG washer and dryer and love it. I use it to wash things I don’t want to put in the regular laundry load.

Our kid goes through clothes like water; sometimes it’s nice to be able to wash a few articles of clothing without doing a whole load of laundry. Small, efficient, and quiet.

Waited for 6 months to get this Sidekick because they just did not get this in stock. It was worth the wait though. It is so nice to be able to wash a smaller load of laundry at the same time as a regular load. Great set of cycles available as well. I also purchased the remote control for this because I just had to have it. It is supposed to be used so you don't need to bend over and change the setting etc. I would have given this 5 stars, but I am unable to connect this to WiFi so I can see how much time is left in the cycle. It will only do a Smart Diagnostics on the LG ThinQ app.

This was great for raising the washer to make it easier to load and unload, keeping it off the floor in case of basement flooding, and it allows easier small loads to be washed at the same time of a full load. Cuts down on washing time for the family.

Works as intended. I use it for small loads or kids items like socks. So far so good and happy with the pedestal and Best Buy service.

This washer is very helpful! I can wash my delicate clothes in it while I wash a load in my big washer. My son washes his football gear in a few minutes there too.
