Thank goodness that we have a drain or we would have water everywhere. Looks like it may be a manufacturing flaw as the rubber gasket with the close lid has separated.

There's a fix but only temporary. Fix is (1) unplug, (2) hold power button 5 secs, (3) hold play/pause button 5 secs, (4) plug back in. Problem will return. A absolute piece of junk. Will never buy an LG product (appliances, TV, mobile phone) ever again. How can they charge so much money if they can't even get the basics right like ability to turn on the appliance

When I found out it would work with that Washer model only ....very dissappointed. Waited a long time for a company to invent that model...DISSAPPOINTED IN BEST BUY!!!

My drain pipe is high so it would drain back into the washer on top. First time used I opened the top washer door, water everywhere. Had to quickly shut door and run drain and spin. Should do fine if drain pipe is low.

Best Buy fails miserably in its custom support

It’s a great idea but according to the (in my opinion, completely non-experienced techs) @ BB AND LG “it’s normal for there to be some water at the bottom of the machine after a cycle.” I had to repeat until I was blue in the face “a half gallon or more of water that doesn’t evaporate even with fans, dry climate & the top open 24/7 for ONE Month is NOT NORMAL. Mildew city. It’s a LEMON.

Drove an hour to pick it up, and it was in poor condition. I changed my mind about it and returned it. It can’t be installed in upstairs laundry room.

Constant error messages that take multiple turning on and off opening and closing the door to finally work. After 15 months the errors don’t go away and it just is unusable. Customer support can only tell me to contact someone to repair it. Piece of garbage.

I was delivered but couldn’t be installed because the driver claimed that there were pieces missing. Later we found out that LG sends all the pieces inside the pedestal washer. Still somehow this one didn’t bring it. Hmm... anyway the store worked with us to get it fixed but still almost 2 weeks later and it hasn’t been installed.

Broke after only 2.5 years. GSP no help at all.

Called GSP at least 3 times (as Elite Plus Member) during past 6 months and all declined support except commenting that "it needs to be put as little clothing as possible". Namely, GSP is TOTAL waste of money one this. Learned the hard lesson and NO MORE Large Appliance purchases at Best Buy.

Great idea

BUT...unless you have a separate, large laundry room to leave the machine open, it smells! I only had it about 2 weeks. There’s no opportunity to let the machine dry without closing it.

Posted .If the washer will not be used for several days, leave the lid and drawer open to allow the tub to dry. Use a towel or soft cloth to wipe around the washer lid opening and lid glass. Always remove items from the washer as soon as the cycle is complete. Leaving damp items in the washer can cause wrinkling, color transfer, and odor. Run the Tub Clean cycle once a month, or more often if needed, to remove detergent buildup and other residue. Not an easy fix with Best buy or LG. Try another brand. No cold water cycle. I will rewrite the review after I get a warranty replacement. Which will not come from LG. Defective Pedestal WD100CW

Hoping the replacement will work flawlessly. Will revise my review once the replacement is installed. Cleans well, but breaks down fast

Won’t drain and the water smells extremely bad. No kinks in there drain tube, and the main washer is working fine on the same drain. Aside from that, the unit cleaned items quickly and seemed to work well until it broke. Instruction manual is easy to follow. Had it not broken, would have been a solid 4/5.
