We wanted movie theater sound quality and that's what we got. I played around with the settings and this little sound bar and subwoofer put out monster sound.

This soundbar has pretty good sound. I love the style, built, and installation is awesome with the wall brackets it comes with it. I do not care what rtings say about the Atmos in this soundbar. I think it does a pretty good job with the up firing Atmos speakers on it (better than what rtings rating claims). A pretty good replacement over TV speakers but still no way close to an actual surround sound system which I do have too.

Amazing sound and great bass. Perfect for those who dont want 5 channel but also want a premium sound experience

I'm happy I bought this soundbar with my tv because the tv speakers just don't compare. I do find myself connecting to my iPhone and blasting music throughout the day. I actually enjoy these speakers better than the Bose 5.1. The clarity and quality seem very good, and sometimes I check over my shoulder because of some sounds that the spatial audio throws out there.

replaced a ZVOX 355 with the LG SP8Y. I got a Bently and gave up a Hugo. What a difference in sound,clarity,quality,and the base. The LG base is a Nascar ZVOX an electric car. I am one happy camper with this LG and I got it on a great sale for under $300. One bug changing settings on the LG with remote is too touchy. The LG connected easily to my TV and Comcast cable,the comcast remote works the TV and LG easily. A great soundbar.

If you like quality with a affordable price, but it! You won’t be regret! Make sure your tv work with ARC to turn on ATMOS…it will be a huge difference

This soundbar has performed very well paired with an lg tv. Nice clear voice, good bass for movies and games.

I went from a $189 Vizio sound-bar to the heavily discounted, open box LG 3.1.2 sound- bar and I am totally, totally blown away at the sound quality difference. The LG delivers a much richer, deeper sound than what I was previously used to. I have a hearing problem which occasionally makes it difficult for me to understand speech coming from the TV. Since getting this sound-bar, I have not experienced any difficulties understanding speech.

I love the sound that comes out out of the sound bar. Great audio and great subwoofer. Would recommend

Great speakers to have at a great price. The base is amazing. Worth every penny!!!

The soundbar was easy to install and set up to my 65" LG tv. It has a quality sound and works with my tv remote

Overall a solid system. Got it for a bedroom. I think full price is a bit much but got it almost 1/2 off and it was a steal at that price. Added the rear speakers helped fill out the sound. Cant touch JBL Bar 9.1 though and is about the same price when you factor in the rear kit the JBL comes stock with.

Paired this with a new LG TV, the sound is great. It is very easy to use and will soon be adding the LG rear speakers.

Easy set up, awesome sound. It makes watching tv seem like your at the movies! Way better than the stock speakers in the tv.

Excellent sound-clear dialogue. The system works seamlessly and has great controlled bass, midrange transparency and sweet highs.
