It does work well and sound really good. My only reservation is seeing how long the sub works. My last LG Soundbar was good also, until the sub quit, after about a year and a half. Overall I do like this one better.

Great Sound Bar but Not Perfect

The sound quality of this is definitely awesome and its cinematic mode is immersive. However, I am having trouble connecting it with the phone app. I know this sound bar just came out but they need to work on firmware updates or simply update the app. Other than that, this sound bar is worth every penny. My cats like to sleep on the sub woofer, too!

Great but tough sub set up

Only found this out after a lot of research online and I suggest you position in a corner for best sound and gives a more surround appearance. It’s sounds frickin awesome now!!

Obviously not as good as my theater set up as far as soundbars go this is the best one we have owned and i have had alot of high dollar sound bars. The atmos is as good as it will get from a all in one set up

Dolby Vision Issues

My unit had issues with Dolby Vision and would flicker TV. Dolby Atmos sounded good but most 5.1/Stereo content sounded very focused from the bar itself. Lastly the unit would turn on in the middle of the night and display MUTE at 100% brightness, I couldn't get it to stay off. Note; I was using all new HDMI 2.1 cables, recent firmware and still had issues

Paired with LG OLED A1. Very happy with the purchase at this price point. Have not the Dolby Atmos option and frankly was not looking for that feature as a requirement. Good to have for future proofing, but not necessary for most content today. Overall, worth spending the little bit more to jump from the low end systems.
