LG sound bar is not compatible with LG speakers

The salesmen convinced me to buy this bar and subwoofer with a separate rear speaker kit. I spent 2 hours trying to get the rear speakers to connect to the sound bar. Then I looked on the Bestbuy website for assistance only to find out the LG speakers are not compatible. And, the speakers that are compatible are no longer sold by bestbuy or anyone else. I don’t put the blame on the salesman, I put the blame on the manufacturer. It makes no sense why you would manufacture a LG sound bar that isn’t compatible with LG speakers.

Currently I cannot recommend this soundbar because cannot be registered online with LG. The model# does not appear as a selectable item. In fact, it does not appear that any soundbar can be selected to be registered. There does not appear to be a support page for the soundbar either, therefore unable to access the detailed manual. The "Simple Manual" that comes with the soundbar is 20 pages long but only has 2 pages of actual pictorial and instructional information. LG technical support is snail-mailing me the 64 page advance manual for this soundbar. They would neither confirm not deny that there was a problem with their support pages for their soundbars.
