||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As our sound bar's woofer went up in smoke, I found this unit and thought it would be a good match to our LG 65" TV. Hook up was easy but setting this thing up via their "APP" is a pure nightmare and torturous. As a Network Engineer who specializes in Wi-Fi, I spent 2 hours trying to get his thing to connect to our Wi-Fi network which is all enterprise level equipment. So as good as this thing might be I can only use the basics as the majority (from what I am led to believe) of the features are controlled from the app. I'll probably play with it 1 more day before I stuff it back in its box and return it.

The atmos feature is tinny and echoey. I could not get this thing to create bass at all. The guy at Best Buy swore this was the speaker to get. Wrong!!! It lasted a week. I replaced it with a Klipsch bar 48 and was immediately blown away. I did add an additional subwoofer as the Klipsch is one of the only soy bars that has the capability to add another sub. Even without the additional sub the Klipsch for less money blew the LG away. I also didn’t like the remote and features and too many adjustments that for one input like Bluetooth from my phone sounded good but then switch to tv and had to adjust everything again. It’s waaay over complicated for a soundbar. I’ve owned and set up several Dolby atmos systems with receivers, powered subs, and speakers in the ceiling. I’ve owned vizio(2), Sony(2), Samsung(3), lg, Klipsch sound bars. This one is the worst one of the bunch. For the price it’s over complicated, no bass, and the mounts to hang it on wall with tv are terrible.

The system lacked bass and no matter what audio mode the system was on, when hooked up to my 65" LG C1, the audio just did not seem balanced. Sometimes voices were too loud, other times you could barely hear them. Perhaps I was soiled by my old 5.1 setup but for the price I just did not find this to be worth it at all. I was always adjusting the volume and felt I had to set it too loudly to hear thing properly in quiet scenes.
