great sound, audio impossible to sync with video

It got to the point where I had to just unplug it and move on. I really want to like this soundbar, especially since i got it on sale, but I wouldnt use it, even for free

Where's the bass?

Great but...

Awful

Connecting the bar to Wi-Fi is a complete nightmare. Sub will pop or cut out completely and then come back. Positioned it in several places and while 1 spot was better than the others, issue still persisted. So I think, hey maybe a firmware update. You can forget that because the app and several attempts to get it connected to Wi-Fi works for few but not for many. So far from other research there are others having this issue as well and not just this model from LG. Its only been a few days and I am not going to sit around and try to work out something with LG whenever they decide to comment on this.

Distorted Picture with eArc- Horrible Service dept

I have numerous Sonos bars with no problems on other TV’s so very familiar with set up and connections. Unfortunately with this bar after a couple months started having the picture distort, freeze and basically was un watchable. Swapped out the cables, checked for updates etc. to no avail. LG asked me to send it in for repair and they clearly didn’t listen to a thing I said about the problem. After waiting over 6 weeks I get it back with a new subwoofer???? What?? Sub was never the problem. As soon as I connected the bar had the same problem. I asked LG to replace the bar but was told I needed to send it back for 3 repairs before they would swap it out. This means based on their turn times with shipping I will be without a soundbar 5 months or more. Just save your money and buy the Sonos. Sounds 100 times better and they just work

New LG vs 10 year old Vizio sound bar

Subwoofer Connectivity Issues

The connection that the sub uses interferes with WiFi signal. Like most people my router is near where the sub would go. Several times I had to reset the sub as when it loses connection there is no bass or it cuts out. I ended up moving the sub around my entire loving room 6 times with it still cutting out. It would work for a few days then it would start cutting out. Like I said I was able to return the product to get a different sub (Denon) that I don't have any issues with. Even though I got the LG sub on a considerable discount (250) I would not recommend this product.

Not worth the price

Not impressed at all with the sound quality (especially given the price). Tonal quality, clarity and range is not on par with the 4+ year old soundbar it replaced. Not impressed

Sound quality is terrible!

The sound was terrible for someone who has sensitive hearing to incorrect pitches and tones. It was not equally balanced and seemed very low end for the price point. Based on sound quality its minus a -Star. This bar is a 100.00 bar out of the box all day long as that is what I would have expected at that price point as per the sound quality. Don't waste your time as you will be disappointed once you have set it up. It was placed back into the box and returned. And do not even get me started on the lack of instructions. 100% inadequate at best!

Not the greatest

We also had a hard time to get it setup and working with our player and tv. Did finally got it up and working but our several year older Klipsch was extremely better than this. Ended up returning and replacing it with another soundbar.

LG service worthless

Sent back to LG. Sent back without power cord, so can't tell if fixed. Still waiting on subwoofer return as well. Have talked to LG support 3 times over 5 weeks without resolution. Will never buy from LG again
