Sound quality not so great.

For the price, you’re better off using the TV speakers. Can’t figure out why the screen goes black when it connects. The only streaming service you can really hear is YouTube.

I'm sure it's good

When I set it up it had a hissing sound coming out from the right side speaker. Changed cables and would still do the same thing.

It's trash

The first day i purchased this soundbar i used it for like 2 hours. I connected my phone Bluetooth right away i need to listen to HER :). I noticed that it started glitching, the Bluetooth connection would last for a good 30 min and then it would change to Optical audio on its own. The first time it happened i thought the wires weren't connected correctly. So i tried it again and the same thing happened. Third time it turned off :( I watched a couple movies it with Optical audio everthing was fine. Next morning Bluetooth connection issue continued. I returned it and replaced it with a new one. It was fine the first week and half... until the same Bluetooth connection issue occurred this time it kept turning off after a good 30 minute.

Skip this one, a better system is worth it.

Currently on sale for $280, I still wouldn’t buy it for even $280. It’s just ok….sound isn’t that great thru it.

Highly Disappointed

I just purchased this LG soundbar from Best Buy on sale from $800 down to $500. This is not my first soundbar and was super excited to finally have Dolby Atmos, but instead I got consistent distorted sound, cracking, and even cutting off completely. I checked HDMI cables to ensure they were not damaged and swapped from other devices, but the problem persisted. I'm sure I'm not the only one and will need to make another trip to Best Buy to return it. Take care and stay safe!!

Don't trust Best Buy's tech employees / Geek Squad

Again, it didn't work. Just like the Sonos Arc soundbar that best buy told me to get. So now I have to repack everything, and try to get this Polk sound system to work that Geek Squad (their second time coming to the house) told us to get. If this Polk Sound System doesn't work the literal second I plug it in, I'm packing up every single god forsaken thing Best Buy told me to get, leaving as many scathing reviews as I can, and speeding to Costco and just getting a huge TV and being done with it. Beyond annoyed and frustrated with Best Buy's lack of guidance

Stuck with garbage.

Bought this item on clearance and open box and still cost me $470. Took a while before I got around to hooking it up super busy with work at that time. Parts weren't supposed to be missing but were. The sound was not good as far as needed to turn up all the way to get anything. Open box so deadline to return was already over. Then about two weeks later Best Buy was selling same item for $280.

DON’T BUY

The subwoofer constantly drop’s from the room during movies, watching tv or listening to music. The subwoofer crackles on low volume. It’s easier to listen to the tv without a sound system. LG doesn’t help at all and claims no one complains about this and you can find people all over the world on the internet complaining about the exact same issues. Do yourself a favor and DON’T BUY LG soundbars.

It looses the signal all the time. Best Buy wants $150 to come address this. I shut the sound bar off, it comes on. It is ghostly.

Not worth it

I've tried everything and can't get it to sync with the TV. Also the sound quality isn't much better than the TV speakers I wouldn't recommend it

Total breakdown in LG support.

Sound bar comes with mounting brackets and a paper schematic but there are no screws. I reached out to LG to see why the screws weren’t in the box and was told they were not included. Not the end of the world here, but then they couldn’t even give me the specs on the screws to secure the sound bar to the brackets. They gave me a number to a parts dealer and said GOOD luck. Between this and the TV I am out almost 3K and expect a better experience.

Disappointed customer

Every 3 minutes it disconnects from the Bluetooth and you have reconnect it. I tried to return it to Best Buy but they would not return it after my 14th day. I had it for 16 days and it has never worked correctly!
