Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the sound quality, easy setup, and price of the 3.1-Channel 420W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and DTS Virtual:X. They appreciate the excellent sound quality, simple setup, and reasonable price. However, customers are negative about the subwoofer, connectivity, durability, remote control, and warranty. They have experienced issues with the subwoofer cutting out, connectivity issues, the soundbar not lasting long, and problems with the remote control. Some customers also feel that the warranty should be longer.

I got these for an amazing price and my view may be influnced by that. But I love the set. I purchased a returned unit at a $150 dollar discount and bundled it with a sony TV for another $200 off! I get great sound in my apartment qnd the subwoofer is able to make the cats cower in fear if turned up.

Relatively new to the soundbar/wireless sub game, always used a receiver and surround sound speakers. After buying the LG OLED GX gallery design TV and mounting it on the wall, I had no additional room for all that equipment. Did some research and chose this LG soundbar due to great reviews and the ability to put the subwoofer anywhere in the room. The sound quality and bass on this is amazing. I initially had the sub close to my router which kept disrupting the connection, but after moving the sub to the other side of the room, it now works perfectly. Definitely recommend this unit!!

Sound bar system was very easy to setup even for a non-techi. Sound bar is very clear and crisp. Subwoofer add necessary sound effects. Hi

    AMAZING SOUND

This soundbar is AMAZING! It's less expensive than Bose and having had Bose in the past, I can say it competes really well with the more expensive brand. I have difficulty hearing and have to turn the TV up pretty loud to hear. With the soundbar, every word spoken, every battle scene fought, every background sound and music can be heard with crystal clarity. It doesn't all blend together either. They are separate of one another and again, this soundbar is AMAZING! Got it on sale to boot, making it even better.

Was a fairly easy set up, sound bar connected with sub-woofer right away.Used HDMI arc with new 65" Tv. Different type of " sounds doesn't differ and bass is not " great `" but is really good for a living room and probably too much for a bedroom! It is plenty loud enough and does make a huge difference watching movies.,is theatre like.

This was a upgrade from a older Insignia unit to increase sound and features. The build quality is very good and setup easy. The sound is great especially having the subwoofer unit . I would have liked an additional hdmi input however in this price range its to be expected.

Subwoofer broke 1 year to date of purchase. Does not power on at all. Called LG, have to mail both the sound bar and subwoofer back for diagnosis and repair. I expect products to last longer than a year, especially when spending this kind of money. When working, it worked ok. Subwoofer would cut in and out, especially when household was using iPhones in the living room area. Sound quality was decent.

Sub and Bar Disconnect Randomly... 2 Star Rating.

The product is working but not as expected. It fades the sub woofer every here and there. Like a random disconnection. I have the bar and sub right next to each other and on different power outlets so no electrical interference would occur. Still continues til today and it started ever since my purchase but I just never went back to return it. I didn't replace it because it was the last one on the shelf and I didn't want to have to wait for a new one . It sounds nice when it works which is the reason I didn't give a one star but if it wasn't for the disconnection failures, this product would be a 5 star.

Only the sub and bar showed up in box. No optical, or either power cords, and no remote. Was listed as excellent condition. Open box label said no missing accessories. I was lucky my local Best Buy was able to get me the proper cables, remote, and user manual. The sales rep at Springfield IL Best Buy was a great help, and made sure I was taken care of. But this experience has made me weary of ever buying open box again. The product itself is a fine mid range sound bar, setup was fairly simple, and straight forward. I paired it with wireless rear speakers, and that was very simple as well. It’s not gonna give you the channel separation of true separate 3.1 speakers. But much better than tv internal sound.

Sound is good for the price, Don't expect Cinema quality from this unit but for a normal sized living room it does just fine. I have had some issues with it defaulting to the Optical Input instead of the Arc Input, even though there is no Optical cable plugged in.
