    This soundbar and sub was really easy to instal and get attached to the tv! The issue ive notticed is it seems like the Bass and deep sound goes in and out randomly! It wasn't a specific show bc its happened multiple times. Im still learning on how to adjust the sounds so hopefully this is just a settings issue on my part! I would say the price is rather high for what it is, you're mostly paying for the name of the product! As well the shipping is not very discreet. It has a huge picture on the side of the box as to what it is. But over satisfied with the product!

    You'll love this soundbar until it stops working. The subwoofer completely died after two years and research shows this is a common problem. Since it comes with a one-year warranty and repairing it doesn't make sense, be prepared to buy another after a few years. Those years you have it? You'll love it.

    The sound is WONDERFUL! I don't miss going to the movies with this soundbar. The set up was super easy. Follow the directions and it comes with the optical cord. It even came with directions to install it on the television.

    Bought one year ago. Sound was great. Especially for movies. One year later and the subwoofer died. Took it to Geek Squad. They couldn't fix it. Passed warranty. Would need sent off for repairs. $85 plus any parts replaced. Maybe look for another brand.

    This soundbar has great sound...while it worked. Like many others have posted here on these reviews and other review sites, this model of LG soundbar has issues with the subwoofer connectivity with the soundbar. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. LG customer service asked me to send it to them for repair, it was a pain the butt to find boxes to send the long skinny soundbar with the boxy subwoofer (i did not keep the original boxes, it had been almost a year) and after they "fixed" it...it worked great for about a month. Then, the same issues again. Man, what a trash product.

    What a difference a sound bar makes. Good sound, easy installation. The hardest part of the process was getting the product out of the box.

    I have had two issues with this soundbar. The subwoofer stopped connecting via bluetooth and I had to send it away for a $70 repair (not through LG). Now the sound quiets after 25-30 mins. Evidently because of a chip overheating per a reddit thread where many people have had the same issues.

    We only buy LG appliances and tvs and have had nothing but great luck but this sound bar sucks. Like many we were plagued with the subwoofer constantly disconnecting, eventually not even noticing it. For the last week we have tried everything but the subwoofer has completely given out and will not turn on, has power and everything. For being a year old and 300 dollars i wish i wouldve bought another vizio for 150 that lasted 5 years

    LG makes poor quality products

    LG is very disappointing. This product worked great for about 15 months. Then the subwoofer became unpaired and would not reconnect. LG walked me through the hard resets and still did not work. The warranty is 12 months, even though other countries are 2 years for the same product. They charge $150 to repair their poorly made product.

    Great sound, easy to install

    We've had the LG soundbar for 2 days and we are blown away. This is an upgrade from a Yamaha surround sound system that we've had for 10 years and were pleased with. We've watched 3 concerts and 2 movies and can't believe how great the sound quality is. Installing this system was a piece of cake. Unpacked and ready to use in about 20 minutes. Can't get over the wireless subwoofer. All in all, this is a great product and we would recommend it to anyone.

    They Fail often. Mine failed two different ways.

    Stay away! After about two years of use, the subwoofer died, you'll read that a lot in these reviews. Also, the sound bar itself will usually cut the volume after 30 minutes of use, and the only way to fix it is to power cycle the doggone thing. It's an expensive erratic paperweight. Please buy something else.

    Bad Bluetooth connection

    The sound bar and subwoofer slip in and out of connection probably (2) times every hour for about 10 seconds each time. Each time, audio switches to the TV speakers and it is very noticeable and obnoxious. I have looked up videos of this complaint and tried to install it in different locations to fix it, but nothing works. To me it seems like the the Bluetooth technology and capability of the system is either antiquated or exceedingly cheap. I would not recommend buying this system.

    dont purchase without "extended warranty"

    purchase for 1 year and 3 months worth of barely acceptable audio and a Saturday's worth of frustration on the phone when the subwoofer decides to give up on life. unable to connect to sound bar. 3 months out of the 1 year warranty. zero help.

    Nice clear picture

    The TV has a good picture and was it easy to assemble the base and connect to cable but the sound bar needs to be almost at max for my husband to hear it clearly.

    I paired this sound bar with my LG 65” C9 and it was a great match. I can hear dialogue clearly and the bass was deep and clear. The problem that made this product unbearable is the subwoofer. It cuts in and out every minute or so. It didn’t start or I didn’t notice it until after the return period. It progressively got worse. It started out every so often however, now it shorts out about every minute. I currently am listening to the sound bar with the subwoofer unplugged, until I replace it with what will probably be a Sonos product. It could have been a great product but this is very disappointing.

    Good till the base stops working

    Good when it works. I will never buy another LG sound bar again. I took very good care of it. The sub still stoped pairing afer 3 years of low use. It was great till then. Was very good base when it worked.

    Overall this soundbar sounds great BUT I have had non stop issues with the connectivity between the soundbar and the subwoofer. It constantly drops connection between the two. It is currently on its way back to LG for service. Hopefully they can figure it out.
