Customers are positive about the sound quality, easy setup, and price of the 3.1-Channel 420W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and DTS Virtual:X. They appreciate the excellent sound quality, simple setup, and reasonable price. However, customers are negative about the subwoofer, connectivity, durability, remote control, and warranty. They have experienced issues with the subwoofer cutting out, connectivity issues, the soundbar not lasting long, and problems with the remote control. Some customers also feel that the warranty should be longer.

Sounds amazing! Clear and LOUD if you want it to be. Good bass too.
Don’t let the price fool you AT all.

I always liked LG products but this one was a bit of a disappointment.
For starters the bar sounded fairly really good!
Good bass, good mids and good highs.
However the subwoofer started to fail within a couple of days in.
Sound will drop out and very often.
The bar was plugged with the HDMI(arc)
Also as for the subwoofer being wireless, for whatever reason, that interfered with the ps5 wifi,
While playing a game there was major lag due the bar been on. as soon as the bar was turned off the videgame had no longer lag.
Overall its a was a great sound bar but due to many electronic devices around it, the subwoofer will failed.

Decent sound and easy setup. I wish the center channel was a bit louder. We got this to be able to hear what they say better and it was supposed to help and generally it does but it still needs to be turned out loud. In turn it causes the voices to be drowned out at times.

So far after a month I have no complaints about this sound bar(except that its $150 less now than what I paid). Setup was easy. It gets pretty loud and the sub get pretty good deep bass for the size of the actual speaker. I would not hesitate buying again especially at the cheaper price.

Replaced an older LG 2.1 sound bar that had started having issues after several years.this one is not as quite as good as the previous one for sound quality of conversations during programs. The remote is also more difficult to use then the one with the prior system, it’s not as intuitive.

Actually made a difference but the whole setup changes if you have the back speakers. Not as good as ATMOS, but for the price, it’s really good!
Wires included in back speaker set and setup easy. Make sure you have an individual to hold it level if you plan to mount.

Very nice sound quality for a small footprint. Bass is a bit underwhelming but seems to be good enough for everyday use.

Apple AirPods are wonderful for listening to music and getting or making calls, etc. I expect there are a lot of things you can do with these. However, there really is not an instruction manual either with the item, or on line that I can find. Will continue to search on YouTube, as Google did not turn anything up. The Siri function is sporadic ,but that may be explained in a ‘how to’ video. Primarily, the reason we got these is for music and that is fantastic. Connectivity is very easy, so deserves 5 stars.

LG - 3.1-Channel 420W Soundbar/Subwoofer

BB salesman explained why rear-facing speakings in many TVs provide a "muffled" listening experience and - of course - recommended a soundbar. Though we are not audiophiles, the spouse was convinced and so a 3.1 channel was matched to the LG OLED TV. (Don't see the need for a 5-channel.) The spouse says sound quality is now immensely better and she'd delighted. Why not 5 stars, right? Price just dropped $90 ... guess who's gonna be calling BB today.

Purchased this soundbar together with our new LG OLED TV as suggested by the sales technician. Initially we were thinking that it was not necessary to have a soundbar, did later find out that the majority of new TV's have very small speakers. This soundbar does have excellent sound quality.

I would give this a 5 Star except I hate when products do not come with the cable you want. I connected this to my new LG TV with optical cable (purchased separately, grrrrr, dumb). Sound quality it great. LG remote learns and controls both the TV & Sound bar. One remote to rule them all. Love it.

Great sound and great bass, BUT it goes in and out while on. I’ll be listening to music and it will randomly switch from working to not working, which ruins a good song. While watching a tv show, it will randomly stop working.

This was great for the price. Wish it had a better manual for all features. Sound quality is great but I do miss the rear speakers of my old system. Have to look into wireless rear speakers that will sync with this sound bar.

Tried several sound bars before keeping the LG 3.1 420W, and for the money you can't go wrong. You can spend a lot more for a sound bar and for a larger room you may need to do that. I use this system in a room that has 10 ceilings and is 18' x 26' so its not a small room and with the matchng surround sound speaker system the room is filled with sound at the correct volumes. This one is easy to set up, good quality, metal grills, good packaging and includes template and wall mounts with optic cable.
