The sound is clear, and yes if you want something loud this is the sound bar to get. I get 4 stars because The BASS is a little weaker. but other than that, it was a good deal.

You’ll have to add the wireless rear speakers. Is a nice sound system but could use a bit better bass. I am still satisfied with its performance after buying additional wireless rear speakers.

Great entry level soundbar. Needed a soundbar for my LG OLED C1 and didn't want to spend a fortune. This works great for the price. Isn't Dolby Atmos compatible, but not really an issue for me. I may upgrade to the next model up eventually, but for price and sound...this works. Be sure to use the ARC connection for best sound.

I was so hellbent on getting a Samsung system to go with our Samsung tv and honestly... I don't know what i was thinking. This system is fantastic and does exactly what we want it to do. I never expected movie theater sound but good sound coming forward rather than bouncing off the wall. I am very happy with this and super excited that we got it open box too!

This is a Great Soundbar for your tv. Great Sounds and easy to hook up.

I purchased this sound bar for my Grandmother who has hearing issues. She has a 2 year old LG TV from LG's lower tier of TVs. The speakers on the TV can get quite loud, and of course are downward firing. She was having to pump them up to over 50 to hear the TV clearly. Enter the LG SN6Y sound bar. The center channel makes all the difference. For those who are unaware, most dialogue will come through your center channel. This allows it to be isolated from other sounds so it is not muddy. Now we are all able to sit in the living room together, and my grandmother can still hear despite her hearing loss. Her birthday is approaching, and I see another sound bar on her birthday list for the TV in her bedroom! With that being said, I did have an issue with setup. This issue is related to her LG TV, so it may or may not apply to other brand TVs. Every time we would turn the TV off, it would "lose" the sound bar. Turns out I had to turn off the quick start setting on the LG TV. It takes the TV longer to come on now, but the delay is tolerable as opposed to having the speakers blow us out of the living room.

All around great sound! Easy to use and enhances our viewing time.

Absolutely was impressed with my purchase, great quality for the right price, customer service was outstanding as I looked at a few other sound bars & he was informative about my options. I am very happy so far with the LG sound bar as I previously had a Sony sound bar hooked up to my tv.

It’s got pretty good sound and can get pretty loud. I think I like The Samsung I had better. It sometimes cuts out. All in all, for the price is pretty good.

Initially worked great but after a year subwoofer stopped working. I am not the type to blast music, so he must come defective like this since others have had the same problem. Out of warranty so can't get it fixed. Have to try and find someone selling just the subwoofer or buy a different brand that can actually last.

Great product in this price range. The sound is good when connecting through ARC. The optical cable also works great but will get true quality when connecting through ARC.

Great sound quality, good bass for action movies and the Bluetooth music streaming. The mounting system is secure and more stable than ones I’ve used previously.

Finally upgrades to smart TV ( LG nano85) and with recommendation of salesman, purchased this sound bar. Works great with TV and using one remote to control both is great.Nice clear sound.

I am having problems with the sound going out in our tv. I turned on the closed caption so when it does happen I still know what is going on, on the show. When I came in to Best Buy, I told the sales guy what was happening. He said a sound bar would fix the problem. It did not. However, the sound bar sounds good. It just didn’t fix the problem.

Good sound and depth. Easy to setup and use. Good for price point

The sound bar and woofer are pretty good. Perhaps they would be better if I also got the rear speakers. It's not such a big room so I ma not sure that they are needed in addition.
