Great washer for the price. Very quiet and I like the end of cycle signal. Speedy cycle is very convenient to freshen things up. It's easy to use and I like that I can manually change spin speed, temperature and soil level. Laundry looks extra clean and it's worth the time it needs.

My issue with all high efficiency washers is that they use too little water to clean the clothes to my standards. This model does have an "add extra water" button, but it only adds 1 gallon. Takes a good ten minutes for the clothes to get fully wet after the wash starts. Despite that issue, the clothing does smell clean and stains are removed. You will have to open the door on the bottom, front of the washer to put the hose in a pail to drain about 1 quart of water when the wash ends. You must wipe the gasket dry after every wash to prevent mold. This model has a magnetic latch which allows you to partially close the door, instead of having to keep it fully open, as you would on all other models of front loaders. It does the job and I like the fact that there is no agitator to tangle the clothing. Be aware the average load takes well over an hour to complete. Not energy efficient as far as electricity goes, only water.

I was a little hesitant at first going from the top load washer to a front load high efficiency because of both mold issues and reading complaints about not enough water being used to clean clothing thoroughly. I have however had a great experience so far with the washer. It is very simple to use and very, very quiet. Our clothes have come out perfectly clean and overall the machine performs well. I only had one little comment and don't even really know if I consider it a negative. It's actually just more of an observation. When the machine is filling with water, the dispenser fill with water a little more than I think it is supposed to . Since it really doesn't effect the functionality of the machine and doesn't cause a mess to clean up, I consider it a mute point. Again, the machine overall is great.

I've owned a high efficiency washing machine in the past and I really like the features on this machine, especially the speed wash cycle. I feel that it spins the clothes out better and therefore, cuts the drying time. When I go to replace my clothes dryer, I will definitely buy a LG front- loading dryer. It is a great value for the features it has. I will definitely recommend this LG washing machine and have expressed this to others already.

great quiet washer, excellent cleaning with minumum use of water and detergent . clothes come out of the washer almost dry thanks to the great spin speed . Only drawback I was told was the lint filter cleaning by others ,but i had had no difficulty or problems with that . Excellent price and results when paired with the matching dryer .

Have only had the washer for a couple of weeks but so far have enjoyed using it. I am still learning all the features that are offered but have no complaints yet. I haven't noticed any vibration issues that some front loaders are accused of having, and I since I don't use the pre-wash function all that often, I can't really complain about the cycle time. Have to say the washer is very quiet! Great product so far.

I bought the washer w/ the matching dryer over 2 years ago. It still gets the job done like new. I love the pair for the price. Once in a while it seems like simple stains are not removed after being washed by the machine. Overall clothes come out clean. You do have to be careful not to overload the washer because the door will open while in the washing cycle and water will begin to leak. After that I've been very careful not to overload and no longer has given us that problem.

My 11 year-old front loader died and was too expensive to repair. I checked Consumer Reports and this model was a "best buy". A little on-line research, and Best Buy was the only place I saw it for the cost in Consumer Reports (other places were $80 more). Ordered that night and 5 days later they delivered, installed and took the old washer for free. Now that's my idea of the perfect shopping experience- not having to leave the house. BONUS: a few weeks later the washer went on sale for even less and they refunded me the difference! My only complaint is the washer uses short sprays of water during the fill cycle causing my pipes to rattle. This may be more of an issue with my water lines than the washer. I'll try installing more clamps on the pipes and, if that doesn't work, a water hammer arrestor.

Great value, same price or considerably less than all major competitors. Very quiet, and extremely easy to use. Delivery tech was very informed on product, and made it easy to understand all operating functions.

The machine is well designed. The magnetic catch that allows the door to remain slightly open to reduce moisture was a great idea. The machine is very quiet and we like it when the "chimes" tell us the wash is done.

This is my second front loader. The first was a Kenmore we had about seven years ago. Every time it went into spin mode you thought a jet was taking off in your laundry room. This machine is so quiet and well designed. I like the drain plug built into the front of the machine at the bottom with an extra net filter that is easy to maintain. I really liked the Best Buy experience. From the internet purchase to the delivery, installation and follow up by the Best Buy team I would highly recommend buying from Best Buy. A great experience.

I strongly with the other reviewers, this is a great machine. It has lots of options and they all work exactly as described and are accessed with simplicity and ease. If it is possible, I'm even more pleased with the delivery and installation. A nice couple of guys arrived on time! They worked quickly and carefully but took the time to carefully and thoroughly explain the machine operating options and proper maintenance. I look forward to purchasing from Best Buy again.

This is a great washer and meets all my needs . I is easy to use, has a wide variety of cycles, and uses very little water. It also has a speed cycle that is done in 15 minutes.

Pretty good purchase overall. The end of cycle chime is pretty hard to hear from the basement. Unit also doesn't seem to get clothes as clean as our old unit did. I find myself using the water plus feature quite a bit.

For the most part, this dryer is very good. Dumping out the water from the condensate is not a big deal if you have a nearby toilet or sink. Although it seems as though clothes come out damp, to me it is actually more like they are steaming and only damp to the touch. As soon as they cool off, it seems like they're pretty much dry. My only complaint is that when doing bulky items like sheets, they wind up into a damp tightly wound brick that you start hearing pound inside the dryer. Occasionally, the dryer reverses direction momentarily as if to undo the knot, but it does so infrequently and for a very brief moment, insufficient to prevent the problem. Too bad LG didn't detect this problem in testing and ensure that the reverse direction occurs more frequently and for a longer duration. Since this dryer is ventless, if you currently have a vent, after installation you will need to block that off if you don't want your air conditioning to escape through the vent.

A replacement for a washer that died on us, in the month we have had the washer, it has proven worthy of our purchase. Clothes are coming out great, in very quick fashion. Doing also the wiping down and air drying of the door to keep the seal clean and fresh.

We love our washer you can put a big load its big enough that i can do my comforters.And with 3 boys i do alot of laundry its great so far i got it for Christmas

I love my new washer already and great upgraded machine from old machine that was same brand and type. Can barely tell it's running!

It took some getting use to the water saving features. The tub does not fill up where you know there is water in it. I love the quick wash, additional rinses, rinse and spin cycles.
