Washer works great so far. Quiet and efficient. Love the little song it plays you when it's done.

I bought this washer (and matching dryer) a few weeks ago when both were only $599. So far it's been a wonderful product. It even plays a nice little tune when finished.

Awesome! So easy to use that my son can operate it.

We've used it for a month now and it performs well as compared to other washers we've had over the years. It has performed well and has a few more features than our last model (it's still in use- we gave it to a friend).

So quiet I wasnt sure thqat it was actualy working. Lots of options for washes and settings. i think it was a good buy.

I am very happy with this purchase! I have used several different settings without the use of the manual.

The turning basket seems to vibrate quite a bit. I don't know if that's a problem in the installation or inherent in the design of the machine.

I hate to be the only one on this rating page to say that they don't like it, but I like it LESS and LESS every time I use it. I called the repairman back after they installed it and after I used it twice to tell him it vibrated really bad, and he said I probably had an uneven load. That's happened about 20 times since then and I KNOW I don't have an uneven load. My clothes DO NOT get clean. I have experimented with all weights of clothing, not too many, adding water and not adding water; adding detergent and subtracting detergent... and still have the same results. The whites don't get clean even when I use max clorox and once I even added OxyClean to the detergent cup to no avail. I feel like I'm just stuck with a washer that doesn't do its job and just waltzes all over the laundry room for its own enjoyment. I hate to call them back to level it because I feel that they will just charge me a big service fee and not fix it at all !

Replaced a front loading Frigidaire which used to raise my blood pressure by consistently failing to go into spin cycle. You can almost "see" this LG figuring out how to balance the load.

We are thrilled with this washer. We've owned one other, cheaper, front-loading washer and this one is a huge improvement. We love it.

i just got this washer last week and have done about 3 loads so far. this morning, i did another load- so far so good. i pulled the dispenser drawer out to do 1 more load and found the detergent tray 1/2 full of water, the bleach tray 1/4 full of water and the water softener tray with a little water in it as well. (i used only the detergent ). i called LG to inquire about the water in the trays. i was told that this was normal.i did not have any water in my 1st 3 loads though. she told me to take out the drawer and wash it as it might have detergent residue blocking the outflow of water. (REALLY!!!!- in a new washer- i don't think so). i took out the dispenser and it was squeaky clean. she had me do a diagnostic over the phone which showed no problems with the machine. i said thank-you for your help, hung up and tried another phone call to speak to someone else. she seemed a little more surprised to hear there was water in the detergent dispenser. she put me on hold to check her manual. of course when she came back she told me the same thing- my dispenser tray was dirty. i did not accept that explanation so i asked for supervisor. i was told by her that the diagnostics showed there was nothing wrong with my machine and if she sends a repairman to my home and he finds nothing wrong that i would be charged for the service. "why was there water in my detergent dispenser" i asked. " there might have been some soap residue in the dispenser so you need to wash the dispenser tray" was her reply. i have read a lot of good reviews about this machine and that's why i bought it. i can't find any information about anyone having the same problem. i am very skeptical about this machine now.

We owned the top of the line LG 5-7 years ago that I never had any gripes about. However, my sister had one which had major issues with a terrible mildew smell. When we moved we bought top of the line Samsung washer & dryer. Washer was excellent but dryer not so good. After our last move we bought this LG washer & dryer because our house didn't have gas for our gas dryer. So, we've had these machines for less than a year. Dryer is good, but I constantly have an issue with my clothes smelling like mildew after a wash. Even when I have remembered to use the Fresh Care option, the clothes still have not smelled entirely fresh after having sat in the machine for awhile. I have used the tub wash only to find residual sludge under the rubber surround. Further, this machine doesn't come close to cleaning as well as the Samsung. I would not recommend & will replace as soon as practicable.

Bought this washing machine and thought I was getting the best deal ever! The sounds when you turn it on and when the cycle is completed is magical. It also looks very neat with all of it's buttons etc....However, as soon as I started using it, IE INLET ERROR kept popping up on the screen. Nothing was stuck in the filter it just messed up my whole Washing cycle. It was horrible. I had to push restart a dozen times. Long story short, got a repair guy out (after 4 weeks waiting for Best Buy to send a maintenance guy out). It was $80 bucks out of pocket. The maintenance guy said a $200 part was broken (on my 2 month old washer) and said he gets service calls on these LG lemons FREQUENTLY. The parts are made overseas and the inside of a LG is not stainless steel.....they are not really heavy duty and if you own a well LG is not for you. Pay the extra $ and get a whirlpool! Hope this helps :)

This is our 2nd LG front loading washer. The first one lasted four years before the motherboard went out. The cost to replace the board was almost as much as purchasing another washer. NOT GOOD. These washers are suppose to last at least 8 years or so. So, we decided to purchase a new washer. The price was right and the reviews were all positive for this model. So, we decided on this model. When delivered, the delivery guy started it for just a few seconds. It seemed to work fine, although, it didn't go through a full wash cycle. We have now washed about 15 loads of laundry. The noise is so loud transitioning from one cycle to another. Something in the electronics is not right. It sounds like it's ready to get stuck or break any second. Needless to say, we're calling Best Buy to come pick up this washer ASAP. I will try a different washer and manufacturer on our next purchase.

Seriously? I new front load high efficiency washer that takes an hour for one load of laundry? Every LG product I bought from Best Buy is a disappointment.
