Wide is the way to go!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.21:9 is the way to go. I really wanted a higher resolution panel, but I couldn't beat the price and some rewards added on made this an easy buy. The extra real estate, multiple input options (USB C!) and height adjustable stand are all a win.

Good, but Outdated in 2024 (for Gaming)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this monitor for work and gaming. I purchased it in 2020, so it has limited capabilities for modern gaming (HDR, specifically). However, it has a good response time, no screen tearing with G-Sync, good sound. I used two of these monitors for work purposes at the time during Covid lockdowns. Resolution and image was crisp and clean. I am upgrading now, but am very happy. I now have one of them at my office. Good product.

This thing is amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall has excellent picture quality and is so nice to use. I recently changed from xbox and got my own gaming PC. This monitor took the gaming experience to a completely different level. 4k gaming is awesome and the difference between the 30 fps and what I am using now, I can firmly say I am never going back. overall great for gaming! seems like it would be able handle browsing and office task as well.

Great Monitor!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is awesome! I was skeptical with getting a 1440p Ultrawide at this size, but figured the GPU I was using (EVGA GTX 980 FTW) wouldn't be able to push the high pixel density without resorting to in-game settings being toned down to medium-high. I'm able to max out many of the games I love playing without breaking the bank and having the chance to experience ultrawide. Yeah, I could have gotten a 4K or 1440p monitor at 16:9 or 16:10, but at the price and deal that this monitor went for on a cyber monday, it was well worth it!

great monitor not for xbox one gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.monitor is amazing for TV or watching neflix but xbox one is not powerfull enough to have this beast running smooth it is just too advanced. sadly I returned it and kept LG 29" ultrawide as seems just perfect for xbox gaming. I did not test this monitor on my PC (didnt feel pluging it in)but Im convinced that it would be amazing. i consider this monitor to be a ferrari when it comes to watching movies on it but so is 29" version just bit smaller.

Meh, went to the curved Dell
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started off with the 34 inch flat LG, was around 300 on sale which fit the price. Unfortunately when it showed up you could see grey lines in the middle of the screen especially when using standard Microsoft applications. Almost looked like how it was back lit, but I couldn’t live with it anymore after a couple days so exchanged it for a new one. Same issue…..a bit more faded, but still there nagging me, so much for a cheaper monitor option. Sooo went back and shoved out the money for the 34 curved Dell. I didn’t particularly want a curved monitor but its what was available. TOTALLY worth it. The curve is cool, but the resolution is the seller. I have multiple programs up at once, the LG made them bigger, and thus made me more efficient, but the dell makes a 3 window view wayyyyy more perfect, it just fits right with plenty of viewing. WORD OF ADVICE THOUGH, do NOT install the dell monitor manager, it over takes windows controls and forces you to lay out in the preselected format you choose, opposed to just snapping on to edges of the screen. So after deleting that, all was perfected. Some light bleed in the bottom left corner, but only noticeable during boot. This is for my work so no gaming or movie opinions. Also I’ve only had it a couple days so we will see how longevity goes, got the Geek protection though so not too worried.

Worked great..for a little over a year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the monitor, but as I'm writing this I'm writing it on an 8 year old ASUS monitor..my beautiful big ultrawide died after 16 months of use. Don't shell out the money for this monitor, you'll just have to replace it in a few months over the companies warranty.
