Excellent for general use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is excellent for what it is advertised for. 75Hz overclocked with 1080p resolution, not that bad for the price range. Of course the important takeaway is the UltraWide 34" display. If you're playing video games and want the extra sense of immersion, the extra viewing space the monitor provides will not disappoint. If you're also on the fence about grabbing this monitor for productivity, this one does its job just as fine. You are able to have to separate windows side-by-side at almost the same size compared to a dual monitor set-up. For general use, this is great. If you're into competitive gaming however, this monitor comes it an a 60hz refresh rate which is noticeably slower than actual gaming monitors whose refresh rate range from 144-240hz. Overall, a great product that can be used for many tasks.

My opinion
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't know what I wanted. I don't know what I should be looking for. It is not a touch screen. I have only had it for a month. It turns out I should have bought one years ago. I plugged it into my laptop and it just worked. It is wonder full for zoom meetings. I can see everyone on one side of the screen and I can still read the big spreadsheets. I do a lot of 12 month analysis, no problem getting the full spread sheet on the screen and still being able to read every number. I can have a zoom meeting up and be writing a letter on Word at the same time. The LG has good color and good resolution. It looks nice on the desk and it is reasonably stable. I sure prefer it over dual monitors. In the end time will tell.

Great Monitor with Some Mac Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great monitor. Looks great, wide, and great picture quality. There is a problem though. When hooking up to a Mac Air, and other Mac computers, the resolution does not adjust properly, at least automatically. Essentially, you end up downloading an aftermarket app to make the resolution compatible. Even if this is an Apple issue, this is all over the web. There are multiple complaints. You would think that LG would address it officially in some way. So I would give this five stars, but for that reason, I can't.

Makes work a lot simpler and better!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace 2 22" monitors. This more than makes up for the missing real estate of the second monitor. Looks great, bright and smooth. Only downside was I was under the impression this unit had speakers because of the way it connected but it's only headphones. It's a very minor blip.

Good monitor for entry level gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture and viewing angles because of the IPS panel. HDR looks good. Freesync works well with my Nvidia 1080 graphics card. My only gripe is that the resolution is only HD. I need 1440p at the minimum to play video games.

Work monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is really wide, perfect for work. I can have three documents up at once to review/edit. I am in the legal field and do a lot of writing so this was an eye-saver!

34" LG Monitor Better Than I Expected!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG widescreen is terrific and gives a great view of your files. The great thing about it is that it does not stretch your file, just fills the page with a larger image. I use it primarily to keep my email open on one side and either one or two additional screens open. What have I learned? I went from two 24" screens and it is so much more functional than it was before. No more looking left and right it's all just right there in front of you. Additionally LG has a beautiful picture. Much better than the 24" screens I had. It probably has more features than I am using but I will check that out later. I have had and used for about 45 days. Lastly, it looks much better on my desk.

Totally worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor saved me so much space in my office. Previously I was using three 25 inch monitors and now just one. The picture is very clear and I am able to have many projects and programs open simultaneously.

Very good deal but prefer higher resolution
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for working from home. I really enjoyed the ultra wide screen. It worked immediately upon just plugging into my MacBook Pro without installing or adjusting anything. For a screen of this large size and sitting up close, I found that the resolution was okay but not great. I also found that the screen was so wide that when looking at either side I felt like I was viewing it sideways. Although I think I could have gotten used to it, I ultimately ended up buying more expensive higher resolution (1440) curved screen, which I think better suits this size.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality monitor for the price! Great Screen, Even Better Price!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to employer constraints and firewalls, I have been unable to utilize this to the maximum potential. But the capabilities of being able to set up a cascade or tile with preset “screens” is one of the major reasons for the purchase. I was unaware that the internal protocols and security measures at my employer was not going to allow use of this feature, but just the screen size alone has improved workflow and decreased “footprint” on my workstation.

Awesome screen for the price!!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on a black friday sale - wished i bought two. After I realized I did need an HDR cable, wow the difference is amazing. The price point is so low for an HDR screen. Super happy!

Loving this ultrawide
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure why it took me so long to buy this monitor for work. Plugging my laptop into this monitor and using the onscreen display tool, I can now bring up multiple windows on this monitor. This eliminated the need for trying to keep two external.monitors synced up to do side by side comparisons, or work on multiple spreadsheets at the same time. The second HDMI input allows me to have a second computer connected and display it in a PIP window. This monitor is big and after using it for a few weeks, I think I want to mount it a little higher up, on the wall above the desk. Unfortunatly, you have to special order a special wall mount adapter to use any type of mount besides the stand that it comes with. Wish that piece was included in the box for the price I paid. Thats the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars, considering the cost.

Good Value!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good performing ultra-wide monitor, with high color contrast, low response time. In contrast, I had purchased a curved ultra-wide monitor that's bigger than this last year for home-office. The other monitor had much lower color ranges, and it literally cannot distinguish whites and light grey. This monitor does not have that issue. Another cool feature on this monitor: you can set the monitor to not stretch for full-screen applications that cannot use the ultra-wide aspect ratio. You would basically have blank edges on the side of the screen, but you get to keep the image fidelity. Good when I am playing some older games.

Worked well for my home office.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was pretty good as my home office monitor during the quarantine. Was missing my 34” curved monitor at the office and got this. Made working from home much better. Only thing is I wish it had a little better resolution similar to my office monitor.

Excellent 34 inch monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor for a great price. I typically have numerous things open while working and needed more screen real estate. This monitor definitely does the job. I easily attached a VESA mount and put it on the back of my desk with no issues at all. The only negative is that if you connect the monitor via an hdmi cable, the sound also goes to the monitor so you will need headphones or speakers connected to the monitor to hear any sound your expecting. I got a relatively inexpensive soundbar and placed it directly under the monitor and it did the trick. Given everything about this monitor, from price, to quality, to the minor sound drawback, I'm strongly considering getting another one.

Excellent affordable large monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monitor is extra wide which allows 2 applications to be open at once without weird resizing. The picture is great, but not fantastic. I wouldn’t want to watch HD movies on this, but it is more than enough for work applications. At the price, it’s a steal.
