Customers are saying

Customers regard the 4.1 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Top Load Washer with TurboDrum Technology highly for its cleaning performance, quiet operation, and ease of use. Many appreciate the washer's large capacity and the inclusion of an agitator, while some find the spin cycle slower than in higher-priced models and miss having a cycle timer. The lid and overall size also receive positive feedback. A few users experienced issues with the washer's balance.

This is by far the worst washer and dryer I have ever owned. The washer barley gets the clothes wet and you have to put it on the deep wash cycle and even then sometimes the clothes come out smelling un washed. The dryer does not collect the lint good and its always stuck down in the trap or still on the clothes.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Washer (WT6105CM) model. We understand how important it is for your washer and dryer to deliver a thorough clean and efficient drying performance. If clothes aren't fully saturated, use the Deep Fill option with the Deep Wash cycle for optimal washing. Ensure loads are evenly distributed and not packed tightly to improve water flow.

For the dryer, clean the lint filter after each use and check the lint trap housing for buildup, as lint can accumulate if the filter isn't properly seated or cleaned. Decent basic washer, you can change TEMP of cycles

Bought this on Labor Day sale, paid to have our old dying 25 year old Maytag hauled away. Got the impeller version, almost went with a front loader but decided to shave a few dollars. All in all a decent washer, we use it daily. It is pretty basic compared to a front loader. One of the DUMBEST things about it is this – It comes with a short version of the printed manual, they DID NOT print the WASH CYCLES !! You have to download the manual online to get the full version. It shows you can change the water TEMP on most cycles as it's not obvious how to do that since there's only one main dial and the 'TEMP' and 'Water/Rinse' buttons don't look like actual buttons. Out of all the pages to skip printing these are the ones they should have included. Ridiculous! Other things we don't like is there's no timer countdown, as some modes can take a long time to finish. I washed my bed comforter because it now fits, ran it on 'Deep Wash' with hot water and also selected 'Deep Fill' to ensure good saturation. It took just over an hour to wash. CONS: - No full manual printed, missing wash cycles and how to change temperature and water levels. - No count down timer or display. - Top door locks when cycles are running, you have to cancel or pause cycle to unlock. - Impeller is pretty mellow even on heaviest setting, guess this can be good or bad. - Spin cycle is slower than more expensive models but does the job. - Top glass gets steamy so you can't see through it. - No fun song or music at end of cycle. - Only one main dial, other options selected through two buttons that don't look like buttons. - Didn't need the new hose kit, returned it. Our has a diverter for steam to the dryer. PROS: - Decent price. - 4.1 cu ft is pretty large, big enough to wash a queen sized comforter and more. - Fairly quiet, and runs smooth. - Thankfully you can adjust the water TEMP on most cycles. We use cold a lot for keeping darker colors from fading quicker. Would have returned it if we didn't have this option. - Can add extra water to cycles by selecting 'Deep Fill'. - Nice looking, no slam top glass. - Good warranty on direct drive.

Our washing machine went out so we starting looking. We found this machine and it was waiting for us when we got to the store and they loaded it quickly and happily. The machine has a large capacity and is very simple to use. You dont need to select a size of load it just figures it for you. The lid is clear and slam resistant. Its actually pretty quiet and does a very good job with blankets and pet beds. We have enjoyed the machine from the first day. Its so simple that even I can now help my wife with the laundry. Very pleased with this pirchase.

Its a way better washer than my last one. I've had no issues with it so far and have had it for 2 months. It has a delay start setting so i thought it was broken the first time i used it cuz it just spun with no water, but it just took a minute for the water to start flowing too. It washes a king sized blanket no problem and is quiet. I recommend loading heavy stuff first to keep it balanced.

Very quiet and very easy to use. Great capacity. I can wash twice as many clothes over my old washer. I like the glass lid do I can actually see the washing process. I like that it chimes when it is done. My old washer didn't do that. I also like that I can choose the water depth to fit my needs. Super quiet and very fast washer!

I recently purchased this LG top-load washer from Best Buy, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade! The 4.1 cu. ft. capacity easily handles large loads, including bedding, without feeling cramped. The TurboDrum Technology gets clothes spotless while being gentle — no more twisted or stretched items. I also appreciate how quiet it is during the spin cycle, which makes a big difference in our home. The controls are simple and easy to understand, and the white finish is classic and clean-looking. If you want a high-efficiency washer that’s powerful, easy to use, and energy-saving, I highly recommend this model!

This LG top load washer works great. It checks the load weight and adjusts water and wash time automatically. Clothes come out clean every time. Wash cycle length depends on what you select and how many clothes are inside. It is not always short, it adjusts as needed. The tub size is good for large loads. Easy to use. Quiet. Good quality. I recommend it.

Absolutely LOVE this washing machine. Holds so much more than my previous washer. SIMPLE to use dials, & my drier now dries everything in 1 cycle because the wet clothing has so much more water removed (better wringer). Makes a nice chime sound so you know when the washer load is finished. No more having to go over to keep checking it. Highly recommend!

    Best washer ever

My new washer works like a dream! I actually love doing laundry, everyday even if there's only a handful to wash. It has a look through top window plus because it's new it looks fantastic. I bought the model with an agitator so clothes come out clean. It can also handle towels, bedding and jeans without a problem. I've tried all the selections from normal to clean tub. Operates on just the touch of your finger for load selection, temperature of water and extra rinse plus more. So happy we purchased this model. Super satisfied customer.

We were nervous about the purchase given some of the poorer reviews despite the very good overall rating. Everything went well. The salesman reassured us that if any issues we could reach out to him directly vs the dreaded 800 line (which we had a horrible experience with at Best Buy on an counter top stove purchase). Fortunately we did not need to put that to practice. The washer arrived undmasged. We installed it ourselves so did not have to pay the extra cost of a new hoses. The unit runs great and much better than the previous 30 year old washer which my wife made me finally change due to a timer issue. It had higher capacity and has some smart features in terms of water usage and very quiet as well. Not sure how long it will last. I bet not as long as the our old mechanically controlled unit. Also for the price it seems to do anything we would want to do very much equivalent to the old tried and true older unit.

I love this LG washer. It’s quiet, efficient, and smart. It uses less water and the clothes are clean. I have cats and wash a lot of towels, and this machine has no problem. I had to get used to the door lock, but it just takes a minute for it to unlock. The chime isn’t too annoying. I think I could turn it off, but we’ve all gotten used to it. The only issue is that the tub is so deep and I’m short that I have to get on a step stool to reach the bottom of the tub. But that’s a mere inconvenience. That deep tub allows me to wash my comforter.

Pros: inexpensive, quiet, clothes come out really clean, uses little water, big enough to do some bulky items, has flexible cycle selection. Cons: needs a better user manual, a bit slow compared to older low-efficiency machines. But everything from bedding to delicates comes out clean. Direct drive motor means fewer parts. Would buy again.

We love our new LG washer!! We literally set it and forget it until the pleasant ring tone lets you know that your clothes or other items are done. Simply load your clothes in the huge, deep bin, pour the liquid detergent in one slot and the fabric softener in the other, and the washer takes care of the rest, even selecting the right amount of water. No more wasted water. There are a variety of settings from which to choose: Quick Wash, Normal, Heavy Duty, Bedding, Deep Wash, Bedding, Delicates, Spin Only, and Tub Clean. No more rolling up the sleeves to scrub the drum clean. Select Tub Clean and the washing machine self cleans with hot water. Clothes come out super clean and are nearly dry when the washing machine stops. We have cut our drying time in half. The slam-proof glass is a soft close lid, and once you start the washer, it locks in place. Awesome feature!! We were so impressed with the LG washer that we replaced our old Whirlpool microwave with an LG and couldn’t be happier. Next up is a new LG French door refrigerator. The only thing that I do recommend is to wash like fabrics and not mix them up. For instance, if you’re tempted to throw in that sheet set with a comforter or quilt, don’t do it because it will throw the washer out of balance, and the sheets will end up tightly wrapped around the agitator. Overall, this is an excellent machine and worth every penny.
