    Not work out of box..made me buy stack kit elsewhere..wrong kit number..then kit correct kit found in dryer! From lg...now coming to swap dryer for new..hope for better outcome..

    cannot use the stackable dryer as we await the coordinating washer that is now 2 months+ delay and unaccounted for at the warehouse. so no... no stars yet

    Great dryer with new improvements

    My dryer vent line in my home is 20 feet long and gets clogged, so this ventless dryer works great for me. I bought my 1st ventless 5 years ago and it worked good, taking a little more time to dry. I just bought a new one and many new improvements. No more cleaning the condenser every 3 months now. Also the filter cavity used to collect lint overflow from the filter. Now there is a double filter to capture this lint. There used to be a considerable bit of heat escaping into the room, but now it is very little. It is so quiet I can barely hear it This dryer works great for us. My wife loves it. I do have one suggestion: the control panel is hard to read, so put a backlight on it.

    The BIG compact dryer

    Still brand new. Only had a chance to do 3 loads so far. Nice looking. Very quiet while in use. Not fast drying but much quicker than the old condensing dryer it replaced. It puts off very little heat to its surroundings which makes me think that it must be efficient. Love the in the drum light! Not happy with the dial indicator light... my installation puts the dial 6 inches above eye level and this makes the indicator light completely useless. If I stand on a chair the indicator light works perfectly but that isn't practical.

    Dont Buy! Not worth your money. Takes years to dry

    What a waste of a money.DO NOT BUY. I’ve had this dryer for just about 1.5 years and have had the drying time for clothes go up and up since day 1. Ive tried all the maintenance you can do to help the machine run optimaly and it runs as optimally as using a blow dryer bought at the dollar store. The clothes take HOURS to dry and it still leaves the clothes damp. And if you want to dry towels it’ll take days. Youre better off hanging your clothes out to dry. Ive called LG and spoke to a representative for them to send out a technician who just told me its working perfectly fine. And still charge me $125 for a “service call”. If I would’ve known this is what “perfectly fine” was then id never have bought this. My entire kitchen is all LG and I expected the washer and dryer to be the same quality, but I was completely wrong. I would return this and get a normal dryer in a heart beat. My previous washer from 1990 was running better than this piece of garbage. Please do not buy this awful dryer, and to the poor soul that does buy it, best of luck and I hope you have the patience for 3+ hour loads consisting of just 3 t shirts and a pair of pants.

    I bought this dryer for my mother who is disabled and homebound. She was moving into handicapped-accessible housing. I was limited in which dryer I could buy because it needed to be ventless and the space we had was narrow. This dryer had decent reviews and for the first 1.5 years, it worked okay. We have now had it for a year and a half and it is struggling. It takes 8-10 hours to dry a single load of laundry! I called my local appliance repair company. They came out and could not find anything wrong with it, but admittedly they had little experience with heat pump dryers. I called another dozen appliance repair companies in our area looking for someone with experience with heat pump dryers, but there were none (and I live in an urban area with many options). I reached out to LG. Their customer service is horrific. They are clearly reading from a script and not listening to the issue. They are also rude. They gave me another list of local repair companies that were "certified" in LG repair. Of the companies that returned my multiple calls, none served our area or had experience with heat pump dryers. LG's only other solution was to send out one of their technicians for $399, but I have to hire someone to unstack the dryer before the service and restack it after the services (quoted as $150 per visit by a local moving company). LG also cannot guarantee that their technician can fix the issue, so I would have to spend $700, to service an appliance that they may or may not be able to fix. So now I have a dryer that is only 1.5 years old and does not work, but I cannot get anyone local to repair it. I have easily spent more than 10 hours on the phone trying to fix this issue. I am hesitant to replace the dryer because it is stacked and I do not want to buy the same dryer (to fit on top of the washer we also own) because I am afraid that in a year and a half, I will be back in the same situation. So incredibly frustrating. I will NEVER buy another LG appliance again.

    This LG Ventless drier brings about this phrase "patience is a virtue" but enough is enough. I have been in contact with customer service over 2-months, opened several tickets, had there 'technicians' come by and 'diagnose' it (the Thin-Q app is useless as the 'smart' analysis says all is good but running the system on-board test indicated a d4 error code) and still awaiting for parts. When drying towels, the timer on the dryer was 8 hours!!! Yes, 8 hours and even after that time, the towels remained damp. It was faster to dry on the cloths line. So if you are looking for your Life Good qualities, look toward another company.

    Wrong info on stacking kit

    Best Buy needs to fix the wrong information on the stacking kit on their website. It's caused all mess of confusion for me. Hours on the phone, multiple transfers and service agents. I ultimately got ahold of an agent from Large Product Fulfillment who was very helpful. I believe the dryer comes with a stacking kit (just a couple metal brackets). Thanks to another commenter for pointing this out. I've since confirmed this in the product manual. Unfortunately, the drier delivered to me was missing the brackets. I had to refuse the delivery and reschedule for next week. Waiting... fingers crossed.

    Bought this dryer and it worked fine for 3 weeks. It soon completely stopped drying and heating my clothes. I tried every different kind of load and troubleshooting options but nothing works. Had the same incompetent LG technician “service” the dryer 3 different times but fixed absolutely nothing. LG DOES NOT issue a refund/exchange after selling me a faulty dryer. I have wasted 2 months trying to fix and get this dryer replaced but LG will NOT honor their “10 year warranty.”

    Website was not clear on delivery options. For this reason the dryer was dropped off inside my door and not installed. Than I had to set up a 2nd call to remove the old dryer. Messy process.
