A little costy but worth it. Some people mentioned that it takes a little too long to dry, which is true for most cycles but heated dry and delicate mode are my go-to if you want the best results in under an hour.

I absolutely despise this dryer. I didn't realize that "dual inverter heatpump" meant that it was a ventless dryer. They are a nightmare. They take 2+ hours to dry just a super small load (and it is still sort of wet), the water tank fills up all the time and it doesn't tell you until it is max full - so when you try to take it out to empty it, you spill water all over the floor no matter how careful you are. I would throw it out and get the actual VENTING one, except it has been out of stock for months and months...

The Heat Pump Inverter system slow downs the drying time, takes too long to dry for our needs. THE SALESMAN DID NOT EXPLAIN THAT TO US!
Also the installer from Geek Squad did not connect the vapor/water hose to it! thus the water contained MUST BE EMPTIED EACH TIME WE WASH.
We called LG service because of the water issue and they told us that we were missing a "plug". they are working on it? Best buy will send someone to look at the problem 5 weeks after installation !!!!!
I have bought a few computers for myself and family and 6 tvs for 2 homes, was very happy with Best Buy. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I WILL NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FROM THEM in the future.

Dryer worked for about 6 months, then would cycle off and on. Within 1 year warranty period called LG Customer Support. They would not help me. After 2 months of trying I broke down and had to buy a Samsung. This was a brand new dryer under warranty and LG would not help fix and/or replace.

Hi, Amy. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Dryer (DLHC1455W) model. We understand your concern about a new appliance that doesn't perform as expected, especially within the warranty period. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience. If your dryer is cycling off and on unexpectedly, a good tip is to check if the exhaust duct is blocked and that the room temperature is in the recommended range, since that can affect how ventless models like yours perform. Takes forever to dry clothes and if automatic cycle is used, stops before they are dry. Drying on manual cycle is then necessary. Consumer Reports warned that the product was mediocre but we had little choice. Matching washer is a disaster.

We bought this one in July 2023, with 2 years warranty, the dryer does not drying at all. The warranty from BestBuy Total membership takes 2.5 months and 3 visits still not able to repaired it, my tenants won't able to wait! I was told if it could not repaire, then they will send a new one, but now they do not honor their promise, so I have to buy a new one for my tenant, and have no choice, I have to buy the same piece as it is stacked, the washer is still working. Will never buy the warranty anymore.

Hi, Shelly. Thank you for sharing your experience on the LG Dryer (DLHC1455) model. We understand your concern about dealing with a dryer that isn’t working properly, especially after several attempts to repair it and with the added stress of your tenants being without a functioning dryer. We strive to provide high-quality products and exceptional services to ensure a smooth experience. To help resolve this, we recommend the following: Make sure the dryer settings are correct and that you're using the proper cycle for drying. Sometimes, using energy-saving or eco-friendly modes can result in longer drying times, which could be a factor. A clogged lint filter or vent can severely impact the drying performance. Please ensure both are clean and clear, as this can make a significant difference in drying efficiency. Since you’ve had several visits without resolution, it may be helpful to escalate the issue with BestBuy or contact LG Support directly. We’d be happy to assist in getting your case prioritized to make sure this issue is resolved quickly. You can reach us via private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport with your details, and we’ll do everything we can to support you. ^Juvy

DO NOT buy this machine. It works well for a few months but then the dry times start to slowly creep up, even if you follow the upkeep instructions. After one year it was taking 4-5 hours to dry a load and now at 18+ months it can take ten hours, even with just a few items. LG also has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with and they repeatedly refused to send out a tech to look at it while it was still under warranty.

Nice dryer for a small condo unit in Philly. The dryer is a bit small but does a good job drying our clothes. It was delivered by the Best Buy folks in good working order but they did not arrive in the originally scheduled delivery window.

This product has worked amazingly. However, I can't emphasize enough how much you should buy this washer/dryer set from anyone other than Best Buy. It took over 6 weeks, multiple calls on hold, lies from Geek Squad installers, damage to my home, and I ultimately had to pay money out of pocket to get other contractors to complete this work. Do not purchase here.

I'm still working on it.
