This machine broke down twice in two years and a third time just a whole 2 weeks past the extended warranty. Love the ventless option, hate the flawed design. The impeller pump just keeps breaking down. An inexpensive part to replace but having a washer/ dryer that breaks down now at a rate of every 6-7 months is pathetic. Never owned such an expensive unreliable appliance prior to this product. Buyer beware.

I bought one of these for my mother. She loves it. Im buying one for myself.

Horrible item. I had it for 5 years. I bought a plan with it. The drain pump broke the first year and then again right after my 5 year repair plan was over. Plus the clothing would come out super wrinkled. Horrible product.

namaste friends, This machine is amazing especially for people using fitness/yoga clothes that dry rather quickly also for delicate cycle's as well. Space saving, a dream for dry/low clothing and a very good-looking unit, the LG pedestal work perfectly with this unit !

Purchased this to replace an old stacked washer-dryer we had. I read many negative reviews but decided to try it out anyway. Although the drying time may take slightly longer than a conventional dryer, it does not take too much longer. My previous washer and dryer were also LG and looks similar to this one. A load of towels used to take about 45 mins to dry and this unit will dry it in about an hour. It uses cold water / condensation to dry and clothes may seem damp when you first remove them. But they will dry out really quickly (~ 5 mins) when you hang them up. Don't listen to the negative reviews!

Best thing I bought this year. I put the close and laundry detergent in and everything comes out clean and dry. It great I love it.

does a great job washing & completely drying. no need to ever lift wet laundry again! bought for my elderly mom but too bad she moved to assisted living. installed in the kitchen, fit perfectly and the setup was a breeze, especially not having to run a new 4" vent hose! honestly, I'm thinking of getting one for myself!

I would only buy this very expensive if I did not have space for ANY type of real machines. Pros: Saves space You can put a load in and not worry about waiting to put it into the dryer Large washing capacity Cons Dry function works poorly - leaves clothes damp or immediately faded by extremely high heat. Dry function leaves a strong chemical odor on clothes Machine gets very hot, beware of touching when in use Large washing capacity BUT you need to take half the load out to dry (per instructions) There is no "air" dry cycle - even the lowest temperature is too warm. At least 3 hours for a load to complete Can only dry half the capacity it can wash so if you wash a"full" load - you will need to reset the "dry" time for an additional 30 to 60 minutes - trying to more than one load of laundry in a day will be a pain. Clothes come out wrinkled My kids do not like this machine. My husband, loves the environmental impact but hates the functionality, My parents and my in-laws (who all have stayed at my home) do not like the machine. All of them complained about the chemical odor of the clothes after drying.

While it is convenient for a 2-in-1, the pumps broke a few times already. It also takes 6 hours for a whole load to be washed and dried. I do not recommend this

Clothes come out wrinkled. Takes a long time to do one load. Had to replace water pump in less than 3 years now the circut board ahs gone out. Waste of money.

Put a dirty load in, setup the wash & dry you want... Go about your day and return to dry clean clothes- what can be better than that!?!

So I read hundreds of reviews and all of the question/answers on several websites just to figure out if this thing will actually dry clothes! I decided to buy it thinking I'd return it ...and after the first 3 laundry loads coming out very wet I was pretty set on returning it but deciding I would cut a hole in my drain pipe about 7 inches from the floor and see if having the drain lower would help like some other reviewers said and like magic the clothes have been coming out dry. Best product in the world. 3 hour wash dry time is way better then me forgetting t oswitch loads for days.

We purchased this item in Nov 2019 and are now replacing the drain pump for the second time in January 2022. The washer does an okay job cleaning clothes, and the dryer is also sufficient, but clothes are significantly more wrinkled than with our old single purpose machines. It's convenient to set it and forget it or wake up to finished laundry without switching it, but we're already in the market for "regular" machines to replace this. We've had it barely over 2 years and will have spent over $500 fixing it. Good riddance.

The LG warranty is meaningless. Our washing machine drum had a big cut in the drum on its own and damaged several of our cloths. I contacted LG several times to have the drum replaced since it has lift time warranty however in order to replace it, I was quoted $800 to have it replaced (other parts and labor). Also the drying time takes 1.5-2 hours. We had the machine almost 3 years and we had to replace it with another brand.

Absolutely horrible experience. 3 years of using this product and I have replaced water pump 5 times. I bought this for approx. $2500 which has been waste of an investment. DO NOT buy this machine. It is absolutely horrible.

We really liked it, but the pump breaks every year, so you have to take it apart every year and put a nee punp in. So expensive and a lot of work.

Would be a great combo, however in the three years that I have had this, purchased in 2019, we have had to replace the drain pump 5 times. Horrible design!

The drain pump is defective. It broke 3 times in 3 years. LG customer service is horrible. They sent a criminal to my home who vandalized my truck when he left.

Make sure it’s on solid footing and it works great

I bought this piece of junk and am regretting it. I am shocked that this machine has positive reviews. Using this machine is a full day job. Even small loads take 8-9 hours including the drying cycle. Yet clothes come out damp! Put more clothes and don’t be surprised to see cycle times of 15+ hours. I am shocked that LG made this product. Don’t put $1600 down the drain. Buy a separate washer and dryer. I was moving and did not use this machine for couple of weeks after purchasing it. By the time I used it it was too late to return or exchange. Have never in my life been so dissatisfied with a product.
