Great While It Lasted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my washer for 5 years. All of a sudden, the drum shifted and LG WON'T cover the repair. It is actually cheaper to buy a new machine! Going back to a top loader!

Do not buy a protection plan! Save money & sanity!

I have been through this process with a washer twice now, and it is the most frustrating process ever. First time, it took 3 months to get approval for a replacement washer & 3-4 weeks to get a repairmen to the house. (Not to mention the hours, upon hours, of fruitless, frustrating calls, and the endless trips to, & money spent at the laundromat so!). Two years later, and we are once again going through the process. One week in, and still not on any repair shop schedule! Same story every time we call. This shows that our first experience was not a fluke, but likely the norm. I just want to warn others that the plan is not as they make it sound!
