No surprises. Easy to operate, we like the multitude of setting options. We were concerned about noise, it is a non issue with this washer.

Our older front loading machine went out. It would have cost almost as much to repair as to replace it. I shopped around online and at various stores (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc...). Best buy had this LG model on sale and I got 18 months no interest financing. I could not be happier with this purchase. The machine is powerful and extremely efficient. Best Buy never disappoints! They stand behind the products they sell!

I had the washer for about a month now, its a great washer very quiet when running, cleans cloths very well. So far we love it.

Hi, this washer does a great job cleaning our clothes!! 2 oversights that should be corrected! The door seal ALWAYS has water remaining on top of it after the wash is complete! How stupid! I can't believe that LG engineering couldn't figure out how to make the seal drain off! Instructions say to wipe seal after use! A little extra work! Also, the best way to prevent mold in front loaders is to keep the door slightly open...the door on this model wants to stay open all the way! Great for unloading! Not so good for the kids to crash into when it's not in use! If LG fixed those 2 issues it would be a 5 star washer! Thank you!

After looking at approximately 1 million washers and dryers, we decided on this product (and the complementary gas dryer by LG). LG is one of the few appliance brands that seems to have somewhat consistent reliability ratings (but of course, there are plenty of people who have problems with every brand). Best Buy had the best price on this particular set, and their delivery team was efficient and competent. They arrived on time and installed both items without difficulty. After using the machines for about a month, I've had no problems with either. I do leave the door to the washing machine open when it's not in use, to allow it to air out and not develop the musty smell sometimes associated with front-loaders. I find the "time remaining" feature to be super helpful. I've used most of the cycles it offers at this point, and my clothes appear to be well taken care of by the machine. I do wish this model had a "wool" cycle, but the model that offered that cycle was considerably more expensive, despite being almost identical in all other respects. The logic of appliance pricing continues to elude me. I also get a kick out of the melody that LG machines play whenever a cycle finishes. It's much less jarring than a buzzer, and it plays once and doesn't repeat, unlike a Bosch washing machine I once had that would beep three times every minute for 10 minutes. This is way less annoying than that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this LG set to someone.

This is not our first front loading machine. This is much more Quiet than the one being replaced. opens easier and closes firmly. we have done ten large loads from towels to dirty construction work clothing. They have all come out clean and this washer spins a lot of the water out of the clothing so it drys much quicker. I like the machine. I hope i can say the same thing in a year!!

This was purchased as a replacement for the unit sold with a home. The previous model was the earlier version of this washing machine. Although the newer version is nice, I think the previous version I had was a little nicer. I find that the "download" feature as superfluous and could be replaced with a more standard cycle. If you need to start your washing machine using wi fi you might as well save the money of owning a washing machine and just hire a cleaning service instead. All things equal, this machine does a really good job of cleaning, and quickly!

I had a Samsung washing machine that started to have issues after 6 years of use and was fixed several times but still no luck, went to BestBuy and spoke with a gentlemen in the appliance department about my options and explained to me everything about the LG which I was very happy to buy which only took about 15 minutes to come to that decision and it's such a great machine. I still have the Samsung Dryer and once that goes out I will be replacing it with an LG dryer.

I purchased the LG front load washer after about a month of analysis paralysis. My previous washer, a 10 year old top load Maytag Bravos was about to go and the repair man wanted $400 to fix it. I was fearful of the front load due to space constraints and mostly mildew concerns. I can say that I have not had any issues to date. The wash performance and options are better than any other of the 3 washers I have owned in the last 20 years. I couldn't be happier. Pros: Washing performance Quiet Water usage (low, but effective and has an add water feature) machine Depth (About 2" less deep than other brands) Capacity Controls Low detergent usage No indications of Mildew smell 30 days in Cons: Only cons to-date are the manual drain filter at the bottom front left of machine. I cleaned it for the 1st time this week and don't understand how the engineers could't design this out) Bleach fill is a bit challenging to fill

This was one of the few front load washer which could fit in this narrow space. But, it still had more capacity and features than the old washer.

We went from an older HE top load to this. The difference so far has been amazing. This is a quiet machine other than the drain pump, but that's fine, it's not like that sound lasts a long time anyway. Front loaders do require more routine maintenance, so as long as you do that you won't have any issues. Will update down the road if we experience any issues.
